Karl-Anthony Towns

  1. Minnesota | Karl-Anthony Towns | 7-0 | 250 | C | Kentucky | 19

The Lakers may have their hearts set on Jahlil Okafor, but with Karl-Anthony Towns falling into their lap, they should not be complaining. Many view Towns as the best prospect in this year's draft as his two way upside often times trumps Jahlil's polished offensive post game according to many scouts.
D'Angelo Russell

  2. LA Lakers | D'Angelo Russell | 6-4 | 195 | PG/SG | Ohio State | 19

D'Angelo Russell would be glamorous in Philadelphia. He would add some shooting and excellent playmaking ability for one of the youngest teams in the NBA. Russell should fit well alongside Tony Wroten Jr. and should provide the perimeter offense to really help this team propel on that side of the ball. I think that Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid would love to have a guard like Russell on the team.
Jahlil Okafor

  3. Philadelphia | Jahlil Okafor | 6-11 | 270 | C | Duke | 19

Tough choice. However, with Gorgui Dieng in the fold who looks the mold of a solid rim protector, Minnesota chooses an offensive minded center to go along with budding superstar Andrew Wiggins. Jahlil Okafor instantly gives Minnesota a steady offensive post weapon.
Emmanuel Mudiay

  4. *New York | Emmanuel Mudiay | 6-5 | 200 | PG | Congo | 19

The Knicks need talent, and that is exactly what Mudiay provides. He is a very good athlete and is good at distributing the ball. While he is still developing as a shooter, Mudiay would provide New York with the energy and swagger that the city and team so desperately needs.
Kristaps Porzingis

  5. Orlando | Kristaps Porzingis | 7-1 | 230 | PF | Latvia | 20

This pick could really end up helping the Sacramento Kings. Moving to a more up-tempo, run-and-gun style, Kristaps Porzingis really provides the Sacramento Kings with the floor spacing that would help DeMarcus Cousins operate better in the paint.
Mario Hezonja

  6. Sacramento | Mario Hezonja | 6-8 | 215 | SG/SF | Croatia | 20

Justise Winslow

  7. Denver | Justise Winslow | 6-6 | 222 | SG/SF | Duke | 19

This is where things get tricky. Tobias Harris is a restricted free agent, and I feel as though Orlando will let him walk. This opens up a hole at the 3. Insert Justice Winslow. Orlando loves young, defensive minded players in the draft (Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon), and I think Justice Winslow would be a perfect fit in Scott Skiles system.
Stanley Johnson

  8. Detroit | Stanley Johnson | 6-6 | 242 | SF | Arizona | 19

  9. Charlotte | Willie Cauley-Stein | 7-0 | 242 | C | Kentucky | 21
