Former IU men's basketball player and Warren Central alum Devin Davis had a charge relating to a possession citation dropped this week, according to court records.

Davis had been cited for possession of marijuana weighing less than 30 grams in an on-campus residence hall May 11. He was suspended and later dismissed from the program as a result of the incident, and has since transferred to Odessa College, a junior college in Texas.

According to court records, Davis' charge was dismissed without prejudice Tuesday.

Davis is one of three players to have been removed from the men's basketball program this offseason for off-the-court infractions.

Hanner Mosquera-Perea, who was present but was not cited during the same incident in May, was also dismissed at the same time. Sophomore forward Emmitt Holt was dismissed earlier this week for a separate incident. He had been cited for illegal possession of alcohol near a Bloomington convenience store.
