Xavier signee Trevon Bluiett of Park Tudor High had 30 points and nine rebounds, and the Indiana Senior All-Stars scored 80 points in the second half as they walloped the Junior All-Stars 140-91 in a scrimmage on Monday night in Logansport, Ind.

Indiana signee James Blackmon Jr. of Marion added 22 points and five assists as the seniors, playing without Mr. Basketball winner/Kentucky signee Trey Lyles, rolled in the first of two scrimmages against the juniors in preparation for this weekend's two-game series against the Kentucky All-Stars.

IU target Hyron Edwards of East Chicago led the juniors with 16 points.

The 49-point margin of victory was the largest in the Senior-Junior series, which began in 1996. Here's the final box.

In the girls' scrimmage, the loaded Indiana juniors beat the seniors 82-61 behind 14 points from Columbus North's Ali Patberg (Notre Dame commitment).

Park Tudor’s Trevon Bluiett has some gaudy stats this season but says the number that really matters would be a third Class 2-A state title in four years.

As of 11 p.m., I have not seen final box scores for the Kentucky Junior-Senior scrimmages, which took place at Lexington Christian Academy, but I'll post them Tuesday, if they are available.

The Indiana juniors and seniors will rematch on Wednesday at Columbus North, and the Kentucky juniors and seniors will play again on on Wednesday at Bryan Station.
