STORYLINES* Greenforest's exchange student program has helped transform the basketball program into a national power. Abdulsalam, Enoh, Iyiola and Obiagu all came to the Georgia school via Nigeria. Thompson can put three of his African-born bigs on the floor at the same time thanks to the versatility of Enoh, who can slide out and play on the wing.
* The Eagles were snubbed on an invite to Dick's Nationals a year ago despite a win over participant Providence Day (Charlotte, N.C.) and a stronger resume than Miller Grove (Lithonia, Ga.), who surprisingly earned a bid over Greenforest. Thompson isn't taking any chances this year by beefing up the schedule. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Eagles finish the season with meetings against six or more nationally-ranked opponents.
