Your thoughts on the Blazers now becoming a running team
Scary. They have the perfect mix of offense/defense players to make that team tough to handle, they will finish higher than some people think, and challenge a contender in the 2nd round. It's just crazy to think, that they could also have a Brandon Roy putting up 20+ and Greg Oden getting 15 10 and 2 blocks, injuries suck...they'd be the real threat in the West had things gone a bit differently.
Finally!
I had been saying they should have been doing this for a while now! Especially now that they have a fast PG with Felton, two very athletic wings plus Batum off the bench, and two very athletic bigs with Aldridge and Camby. It's about time!
Being a running team makes them a better team for sure. It fits gerald wallace's so much better then if they slowed it down. Call me crazy but I could see them sneaking into the finals. If Aldridge keeps getting better as being their go to guy I like their chances. but i'm sure someone will get hurt right before the playoffs lol
Speaking of injuries has anyone heard any news on Oden, I thought it was just a minor setback or will he miss another season?
I've heard that Oden could be back in February and that he's pushing to play this season so he can show teams what he can do because he'll be unrestricted next summer. Now that you mention it I just got really excited about the possibility of Oden playing this year. Imagine if he did come back and was in great shape the Blazers could def make a push to go to the finals that would throw the whole Western Conferance for a loop.

In the past the Blazers offense was known as a slow team but this season they are running more and scoring more fastbreak points. I know its only 3 games so far but this new uptempo is pretty good for the team.
