What do you do this offseason?
Who do you draft?
What do you do?
If I'm the Suns gm:
I do everything I can to keep Amare.
Deal Barbosa away, either with the 60th pick to move up this year or alone for a pick next year.
Develop Earl Clark, he can be Odom off the bench next year with proper teaching.
Try and pick up like Joe Johnson, maybe he would want to come back there. Then you can move either Richardson (probably not) or Hill to the bench which will only further strengthen it. Don't know how much cap the Suns have so I'm not positive that can be done.
Richardson, Hill, Clark
Stoudemire, Amundson, Clark
Lopez, Frye, Collins (maybe)
With a draft pick in there, looks like a good lineup to me.
If not Johnson, could always go after McGrady, or maybe a Rudy Gay plus a decent big man.
First thing deal one of the point guards
A specific deal that i think is possible is Wright and Calderon/Jack and 13th pick For Ryan Gomes and Sessions and 16th pick
Trade CB4 to Houston who has a lot of young talent
Do anything to get rid of Hedo
The raptors unfortunately have to start rebuilding around Bargs and DeMar
Those Vacant spots will be filled with trades and possible first round picks
This offseason could really change the whole outlook of the team
Im The Raptors GM
Trade Calderon For Beasley
resign Bosh & Amir Johnson, Trade Hedo For Joe Johnson , Draft Avery Bradley
Pg- Jarret Jack, Bradley
SG- Johnson, Derozan
SF- Beasley, Weems
PF- Bosh , Amir Johnson
C - Bargani , Evans
Pretty Damnnn Good Lineup And Beasley has been a talk of trade rumors and since Miami needs a PG Calderon can fill the need. He is a Steve nash Type PG with a great assit to turnover ratio. Sign and trade atleanta can do with toronto can give them a legit Point Forward. Marvin williams lacks the handles and they depend on Bibby to control the ball always, even though he just an okay ball handler. Toronto had real point guards thats why Hedo didn't fit the mix.
I'm the Wizards GM
I draft John Wall, Craig Brackins, and Quincy Pondexter
Re-sign Livingston, release Josh Howard, Randy Foye, and Mike Miller. I would go after one of the superstar free agents like LeBron, Wade, and Bosh, etc, but if I can't get one of them, I hold on to my cap space until 2011. I would sign one of the lower-tier free agents like John Salmons, Brendan Haywood, Darko Millicic etc.
I would also try my best to get rid of Gilbert Arenas but if it's not possible, I would leave him on the team and see what he could do with John Wall.
Here's what I see wrong with that.
Yes Beasley is on the trade block but they want nothing back. Calderon contract is maybe around 8-9 mil. They tried to trade him for keynon Dooling who has a team option, so they would just dump him.
Bosh is not coming back.
I've heard they may swipe calderon for mo Williams. Both contracts are very close.
I do think they will draft A. Bradley and play him at the two.
They will have to move hedo. But with his awful contract I can't see getting anything in return. Well anything of real value. Best shoot is an expiring contract. Maybe something like eddy curry's expiring contract or Andres Nocioni. With him not wanting to be there you might have bite the bullet on that one. Maybe if you could get nocioni and Spencer hawes for hedo and a junk player or future 2nd rounder. (maybe)
I don't see them landing a free agent with a name.
Mo williams/ j Jack
a Bradley /
it doesn't look great but it solves some problems and they would draft in the lottery the next year whiich is how they have to rebuild their team. Not a lot of American players want to live/ play in Canada. They just have two rebuild
First off I try to convince Charlie Bell they is no spot for him and that he wants to play in Europe again. Bell was unhappy at the end of last season because he didn't play and was basically unwanted. Milwaukee should never have matched the deal Miami offered.
Trade Mike Redd and Dan G Both Contracts are Expiring so it is most likely a deadline type of move.
I'm doubting that John Salmons comes back
Ridinor will must likely leave as will Kurt Thomas
I know Miami is trying to deal Beasley for a sandwich and a can of pepsi so I offer them my next two 2nd rounder(not this years) since Milwaukee has both of Chicago in 2011/2012 from the Salmons trade. Miami wants Beasley off the books. I've read that they offered out Beasley, Dequan Cook, and James Jones a future first round pick(which will be at the end of the first round once they reload and win 60 plus games, so it's not worth that much plus they dont have to commit the money to a first rounder) and three Million in cash. It's all about the Money Avail. to Miami to land two max contract players that's why they want to deal Beasley.
Memphis is Selling the 28th pick, they sell for around 3 million for late first rounders(that's what they went for last year) So I use Miami three million to buy that pick. and draft a big man there, someone like Alabi or Larry Sanders if they fall that far. if not they a PG, eric Bledsoe if he fell or Terrico white, armon johnson or just the best guy there. Or buy the pick and trade it to the Knicks who would love to get into the first round, for both of their 2nd rounders, 38 and 39, that would give the Bucks picks 37,38,39 and 47 in the Second round. Draft Tiny Gallon, Greivis Vazques and either Jordan Crawford of Jerome Jordan Maybe even trade the Knicks Dan Gadzuric and Charlie Bell for Eddy Curry, Contracts come out the same and Dan G would fit into the Knicks running offense. This would rid the Bucks of Bell's extra year and Curry is one and done.
At the draft I take Xavier Henry first round, Tiny Gallon at Pick 37 and either a PG or a Center with the 47
If Henry is gone then Milwaukee looks at another wing player. That is the need. Power Forward will be the need next year. If Henry is gone, then I can see maybe a PF, and Jordan crawford would be a pick up in the 2nd round.
If they traded for Beasley, buy the pick and trade with the knicks(It's only a wish, but I don't really see it happening)
Brandon Jennings/ Greivis Vazques
Xavier Henry/Redd/Cook/Stackhouse(sometime in December)then trade Cook or Drop Bell plus get rid of Redd)
Beasley/ Carlos Delfino/ Alando Tucker(signed for the summer league team, yes right now he is a buck)
Luc Richard/ Ersan Ilyasova/Tiny Gallon
Andrew Bogut/Jerome Jordan/Eddy Curry
otherwise i see it as
Henry/Redd/Stackhouse(back in Late November or December)
Delfino/ Alando Tucker
Luc Richard/ Ilyasova/ Gallon
Bogut/ Gadzuric/ Jerome Jordan
Kurt Thomas could also be brought back and a PG signed as well that would give them 15 players.
If they resign Amare then they will not add another guy, they just wont have the money to do so. If he's gone then they could add someone, but not both, no money for two.
I think the Wizards guy gets it. Sounds more like a plan than a christmas wish list.
Wow Raps fans are acting like idiots...
Trade Evans, Banks and Bellinelli for Diop, Thomas, and Aijinca
Charlotte desperately needs to get rid of cap space and it will cost them some assets.Whether people like it or not Diop is an ok rotation big man even thou his price tag is throught the roof.Thomas has unrealized potential but Brown should be sick of him by now.
Trade Turkoglu and Aijinca to Sacramento for Nocioni and the 33rd
Trade Calderon to New York for Curry and the 39th
Trade Bosh for Gibson, Johnson, Deng, Chicago's 2010 first pick (#18), Charlottes 2012 first pick
Draft Aldrich, Bradley, Dominique Jones and Samardo Samuels
PG-Jack, Bradley, Jones
C -Aldrich,Gibson, Diop
PG-Jack, Bradley, Jones
C -Aldrich,Gibson, Diop
There is no defensive hole in this team besides possibly team defense...
The is no offensive hole in this team besides perimeter shooting from the 2 gaurds.WHich they get from Andrea.
and playmaking from the PGs
I draft Favors at 3. Pondexter at 27. Willie Warren at 31.
I try to sign LeBron or Wade, but quickly realize it's futile.
I refuse to overpay Gay or Johnson. Aim for Boozer, Amare, or Lee.
I march out a line up of: Devin Harris/Lee/T-Will/Amare/Lopez. Bench of Favors, Yi, CDR, Warren, Pondexter.
I aim hardcore for Carmelo Anthony next year. He's a Brooklyn boy.
Let Avery Johnson mold the young 'uns. Plan to be peaking after Newark, but playoffs next year.
