It seems like Kobe’s Influenza is rubbing off on the Lakers youngsters!!! Last night second year forward Julius Randle was visibly seen barking at Warriors Draymond Green..The most vocal time was After he failed to complete a layup!! Telling Green that he couldn’t guard him!!! Green 1 of the top defensive  players in the nba Just laughed it off!!Randle taunted him numerous times !!! On his way to scoring all 14 of his points in the first quarter ,while being defended by Green!!!!  Great to see Randle who sum had labeled a bust being aggressive and taking on the challenge of Green who has quickly earned a reputation for being a great defender!! Lakers fans should be super excited with the way he has played this preseason averaging 13 points 3 assists and shooting 53% !!! Now if the Lakers can step up their defense and get rookie Russell on track!! This season might not be in the playoffs but they will be fun to watch and the future looks promising!!!!!

I thought Randle would finally struggle since Draymond Green is one of the best defenders in the league and I figured he was as strong or stronger than Randle. Nope. 14 points in his only quarter (they shut the game down early and Byron Scott began playing the 3rd string team). He would have had a lot more. He still makes a lot of bull in the China shop moves, but he’s getting better at having more to rely on.

I was also struck by how much better they played without Kobe. Warriors were without Klay and they weren’t playing all starters, but with Huertas running the B team, overall, the Lakers looked surprisingly good. I don’t think they make the playoffs, but they might not be so far from it.

whoa whoa whoa chill out homie Kobe hasnt played one 4th quarter yet.

And Randle was going AT Draymond. Draymond definitely lit a fire under him, and Draymond looked underwhelmed by Julius’s response. Granted Julius like you said only played 12 mins so Draymond didnt really have much time to gather himself and respond back to Julius. But there’s still a lot of positives that came in that 12 minutes that he did to one of the best D-players in the league. I like the strides in what I am seeing in this kid, he’s looking very confident in his game and he’s getting used to his super strength.

You wanna know who isnt saying "you cant guard me"?

Kyle Lowry….after Delly kept him to 2/11 shooting tonight.

MCW kept to 1/11 couple days ago.

Delly is a top 5 PG in the East. Keeps outplaying supposedly ‘more talented’ players yet never gets respect.

Lol you guys are my biggest fans.

Heat Check in Utah. Joe Ingles 16pts in 20mins. 5-7 from 3pt.

Is there a bigger heat-check guy in the NBA than Big Joe?
