Would this deal be good for the Nuggets?
mds0549 JR SMith and TWIll are salary cap numbers in this trade if it were to happen. The last thing these teams would be concerned about if this trade was to go through would be those 2 idiots.
why couldn't T-Will and JR play together???? that is a sweet trade though....
This is basically the trade we have been talking about for like 3 months now. And the Nuggets have came out and said that the most enticing offer they received was the one with Philly, not the Turner and Young deal, but the one involving Iguadola. But I am not going to tell you the Sixers are going to trade Iggy straight up for Melo and its a good deal because it is a terrible deal. But i do propose a 3 way deal. I am making this deal with it in mind that if Denver wanted Derrick Favors they would of traded for him already but they haven't and don't seem to be that high on him.
Nets Get: Melo, Speights, future draft considerations from Sixers
Nuggets Get: Iggy, T. Will, Kris Humphries, Future 1st Rounder Nets
Sixers Get: Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy
It workse money wise. The Nets basically trade Favors, Williams, and Murphy for Melo and get draft compensation back.
The Nuggets get back Iggy, T. Will, and Humphries who is a rebounding machine and relatively cheap plus draft picks.
The Sixers get Favors aka the guy they should of drafted, and Murphy and expiring contract.
I don't like it, because it creates a log jam at the 4/5 for the Nuggets and leaves them without a viable starting 3. Williams isn't ready for that role yet.
For the Nets, it leaves them kinda thin at the 4/5. Carmelo would obviously improve the team, but they would need some additional size.

Denver gets: T. Murphy/D. Favors/T. Williams
NJ gets: C. Anthony
