2006: Adam Morrison

For 2006 I'd have to say Adam Morrison 3rd overall or Shelden Williams 5th overall....Sene was drafted 10th overall and was bound to be a bust, Morrison going 3rd overall and absolutely doing nothing warrants him the least productive in 2006. People were calling him Larry Bird....what a joke

Although Shelden's done nothing in the league, atleast he is getting some from Candice Parker...that makes him more productive than Morrison.

Rafael Araujo was probably

Rafael Araujo was probably the worst basketball player drafted in the top ten of the last decade period.

Forget being labeled a bust, the man could simply not play the game of basketball during his time in the league. He appeared scatter-brained every second he was on the court. His college career was probably one of the single greatest con jobs on "potential" of all time.

how can you tell what kind of

how can you tell what kind of a player thabeet is gonna be?
and derozan as well, especially when he started more than 60 games on a team that almost made the playoffs?

another thing is that some of the players you mentioned just got injured and may have turned out to be real good one day like- jay williams, shaun livngston and tj ford

Fcuk in the how is Demar

Fcuk in the how is Demar Derozan a bust?

Keep in mind the Raptors needed a wing.

Now name me one wing selected after 9 that is a better pick than Derozan, heck name me one player other than Jennings!

Once Derozan gets a 3 point shot he's gonna make defenses look silly.

Eddy Curry was the leading

Eddy Curry was the leading scorer on a playoff team in 2005. Joel Pryzbilla has had a darn good career. Starting center on several playoff teams and is one of the better rebouding/shotblocking centers in the game. The Blazers might've beaten the Suns in the playoffs with him. TJ Ford was the starting pg as a rookie on the Bucks and starting pg on 2 Toronto Raptor playoff teams and a focal point. DJ Augustin put up double figures as a rook, but hit a sophomore slump, excusable.

I remember they were

I remember they were comparing CB4 to Garnett I had no doubts in my mind that CB4 would be a HOF calibur player. I also remember watching Wade's rookie year which was IMO the most impressive rookie performance I have ever seen.Despite Anthony and James winning the ROY Wade completely turned the Miami franchise around played with amazing heart and practically came out of nowhere.

Derozan & Thabeet Have shown

Derozan & Thabeet Have shown strides of becoming better. Derozan had around 4 20pt games and thabeet became better since his recall from the dleague.

ARAUJO WAS THE WORST PICK EVER!!! I WAS SOO MAD WHEN THE RAPTORS DRAFTED HIM........WASTE OF A DRAFT SMH

Jordan Hill averaged about 6

Jordan Hill averaged about 6 points and 5 rebounds in only16 minutes for the Rockets while shooting 53% from the feild. Getting out of New York was a great thing for his development. He is still young and has good size, I honestly think Hill is going to average around 8 and 6 in his sophomore campaign. I don't know if he'll ever reach his potential, but he showed signs of life late in the season and I think he'll be a serviceable power forward and no where near a bust consideration in 5 years.

One Thing To Keep In Mind

I don't think the key point in this thread should be who is or who should be on the list.

The main point everyone is missing seems to be so logical and obvious to me. Why are some NBA GMs, who are paid so much money, repeatedly making dumb choices year after year?. Let's put the accountability back where it belongs, with the GMs who continually make themselves look stupid.

Maybe it's time to ask why so many fools are being paid millions to make stupid decisions?
