aktripleParticipantEveryone jump off the bandwagon please. Suddenly everyone has the wizards as the favourites in the east to come out of the second round or whatever. Need i remind you that you were one of those same people writing them off as "an early first round playoff dissapointment". Yep thats right so now people are coming up to me telling me how the wizards are legit and they are the best team in the league. Us true Wiz Kids have known that since day one so everyone please hop off like you did for toronto and portland.
Have a lovely Day and go Support lebron james and steph curry you bandwagoners

Mad MaxParticipantDo you also complain when your favorite musician becomes nationaly recognized and popular and tell other people not to like them because you heard them before?

TarHeelRavenParticipantThe Wizards started out the season on fire and I thought they would be the number one seed on the east come playoff time. Then they hit a big lull dropping games left and write including a couple embarrassing losses to the Hawks. They finished the season strong though. The great thing about the playoffs is that it’s a brand new season. Wall is playing like a man possessed and is making Gortat look like an all-star with how they are executing the pick and roll. Otto is stepping up and Paul Pierce is providing veteran leadership. The Wiz are as dangerous as any team left in the playoffs when they are playing well. Also, the Wizards are something like 8-1 in their last 9 road playoff games and are the first team in NBA history to win game 1 of the playoffs on the road in 4 consecutive playoffs series which is ridiculous. I expect the series with the Hawks to go 6 or 7 with the Wizards taking it.

MadDogParticipantI’m pretty sure being a Wizards bandwagoner isn’t a thing. They still suck.

HitsterParticipantThe Wizards had an up and down season before securing a comfortable play off birth. They have a lot of depth and experience on their roster but so do the other teams out East.
They played superbly to dispatch the Raptors and looked sharp in the opening match against Atlanta but I would not start making them Eastern Conference favourites just yet. They are legit contenders and it could just be the year they slip under the radar and make the finals, with K-Love being out, rumours of a power struggle at the Bulls. But I would not put them ahead of any other Eastern Semi Finalists yet.

RUDEBOY_Participantalot of it has to do with their seeding..alot of teams would love to have had the raptors & hawks as their playoff opponents..
but i never liked paul pierce becuz of his atttitude..but he always backed it up on the court..and now he’s showing the young wizards how to win…

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThat seems harsh, especially to those who saw it and do not fully appreciate Washington’s awful history.
Washington playoff wins 2015- 5
Washington playoff wins 1983 through 2013- 8Washington wins past the first round 2015- 1
Washington wins past the first round 1983 through 2014- 2, both last yearSure, it would seem Golden State fans have handled their ascension from making the playoffs once in eighteen years more gracefully, but Washington really had been bad for a long time. I think there might still be a few scars.
