That's really sad to hear. I wish the best to Willie and his family
That is messed up, losing family memebers is never a easy thing to deal with so I wish the best to him and his family as they go through it.
Poor guy. Right around Christmas too, thats just Sad.
Wow that sucks. I mean it is one thing when a grandma or a grandpa dies of old age. I am not saying that is not sad my grandma died not to long back. And it sucked. But to lose your sister and cousin who were still young and had the rest of there lives to live. That is just not fare.
And Knicksfanforever that is just uncalled for. It is very unclasses and stupid. To say something like that just proves that you are a selfish little child who needs everyone to look at them by saying something crazy.
i find it incredibly hard to believe that the road was in good condition... roads around here have been absolutely CRAP since that snowstorm... there has been at least a 1inch layer of ice everywhere ive been in the past week...
Damn this stinks, Willie Green was known as a truly good guy when he was with the Sixers.
This is terrible news. Willie Green is the definition of a professional basketball player. His career should of been over twice in Philly by knee injuries but he kept working to get himself bacc on the court and it paid off. Green found a way to either start or get starter minutes for almost every coach that Philly has had after Larry Brown left and it's been a lot of them. Nobody ever really understood why he was still on the team until you would see him out in the community doing events for charity or whatever community events the Sixers had planned. Willie Green almost lived at the Nova Care Complex here in the city working on his game. He went from being a fringe 12th man to being a valuable role player off the bench for a playoff team. Green worked on his 3 point shot so much that it went from being a weakness to a strength. He seemingly still fits a new move into his game every offseason. I know the Hornets brought him in to be a backup PG something Green is capable of doing but not very good at it. Green is at his best attacking off the bench.
Having lost a sister and brother myself I send my best wishes to Green and his family this is a true tragedy.
My prayers go out to him and his family and hopefully there in a better place
Yeah he's in my prayers. Sad news for 76ers fan, since he used to be on our team. And like someone said, this happened right around Christmas too. Really tough news man.
