Will he last? (Brandon Knight the PG)
i feel the pistons took him because hes similar to chauncey billups , and perhaps smarter then chaucey (at that time ) , in his prime he can put up perhaps chauncey like stats when he was with the pistons. i think he can stay a point gaurd and part time play sg
He will never be a full time 2 but IMO, he is a little bit like Jarrett Jack.. Jack is a great PG but he is also a pretty good SG.. Knight isnt a true PG but thats where he is going to get most of his minutes..
Billups wasnt a true point guard at 1st and still isnt, but he's smart and knows when and where to get players the ball..
He is a offensive defensive minded player not a true PG, in the sence he won't give you 10 APG. I like the comparison of Jarret Jack with a much better shooting stroke.
I never like how the team preformed with Stuckey as the point,he didnt make anyone better..I think they'll play him at the 2 ,when he gets back....His attack mode might mesh well Knight's outside shooting...
The problem is that they are a team full of undersized shooting guards if you think about it.... They have Stuckey, Knight, Ben Gordon and Will Bynum. There is not a decent passer on this entire team, due to their not being any true point guards.....
He is not better than Irving. It just isn't a fare comparison. Irving is just the complete package (though he doesn't play major above the rim like some young point guards). Knight has a ways to go before he is NBA ready. Irving is an NBA starter-level point guard right now. Though he is knocking down threes, which means he has adjusted to the NBA line it seems.
"Knight has a ways to go before he is NBA ready."
Doesn't get more ready then 11.4ppg 2.7apg 3.5rpg
irving right now is better than knight...
i love how knight is getting a lot of mintues as a rookie, i didnt expect that, didnt think he would be that ready
his pg skills are decent at this point... there arent bad at all
very bright future thou
Brandon Knight is solid... but you are not bonafide until you can win some games. Has very little to do with stats when you are playing on a team as poor as Detroit.
Need I say more? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlQSSeNYIfA and did you see Kyrie today? 26 points 6 assits on 28 mintues.

I unlike many believed & still do, that Brandon Knight is better than Kyrie Irving. Knight has always been a PG, but going into UK's system he played off the ball, more then I expected him to as a "PG". Knight currently on the Detroit Pistons roster, as the PG of the future is averaging 11.4ppg 2.7apg 3.5rpg.
Coming into the Pistons organization, many posters on the forum viewed him as a full-time SG. I think it's unfair, because majority of the opinions stemmed, from how well he could play off the ball without having to have it in his hands to create for himself.
I wish BK the best as a PG in the league, but I would like to know, how long will this PG play last before he gets slid over to the 2 full-time?
