BallinmvpParticipantChad Ford just tweeted a couple hours ago that Wiggins had a good workout and he is working on his ball handling, 3pt shot, and midrange game. I am a wiggins fan but I’m more concerned about him finishing in traffic and then his ball handling. But should good I guess for a 1 vs 0 workout.

Memphis MadnessParticipantWhat’s the best fit for Wiggins? That’s the team I hope he goes to.

Big_C_KUParticipantNot a shock to hear he’s working on his weaknesses. His 3pt isn’t as much of a weakness because he has good form he just needs more repition especially becoming more comfortable pulling up as well as spotting up.His finishing isn’t as much of a problem to me as players usually finish better as the get stronger and get older. I’ve seen a bunch of freshmen struggle to finish and by the time their juniors, even as early as sophomores they’re much improved at finishing. With more coaching he’ll learn angles as well that will improve his finishing.
His dribbling is his biggest issue and to me the issue is more with his high dribble on the drive and lack of shake. He needs to dribble a little lower when he drives and not be so much straight up.
Wiggins needs to also learn to use his athleticism better while in-game and in space. He shows in athleticism in the open floor and in practice but he needs to use the athleticism in-game and explode to the basket. As soon as he learns to do that he’ll finish much better around the rim as well.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantWiggins doesnt utilise his athleticism enough in game in terms of finishing. When you are that long, bouncy and quick you should be going at your man everytime with the intent to blow by and dunk that ball, whether around him or on top of him. That mindset is what made Vince so great to watch in his early years because he would go at any one. Whichever team gets Wiggins needs to sit him down with some old Vince Carter, T-Mac and Kobe tape and get him to start working on how to blow by guys using his length and athleticism. Working on his handle would also do wonders.
