I know its been said before but I really hate that Bennett isn’t going to MIN. He would really blend in with Wiggins/Lavine and wouldn’t have to live up to the 1st pick (not his fault he was taken that high in a bizzare draft anyways). I almost feel like there would be some brotherly bond there…

Now in Philly I see it as a “get in where you fit in” situation competing with bigs Noel & Embiid (I know not exactly same position but still…h

If PHIL is getting the 1st pick for Young, there will for sure be other players going with it. (Barea, Shved)
Barea, is going to be traded to someone before training camp, because of Flip signing Mo Williams.

AUGUST 21ST: Sixers GM Sam Hinkie wants to acquire the first-rounder that the Cavs are shipping out in the deal, Zgoda tweets. Zgoda wrote a few weeks ago that the Wolves hoped to send that pick, likely the Heat’s 2015 first-round selection as we noted below, to Philly as part of a package for Young, so it seems a fair bet that the pick winds up with the Sixers.

AUGUST 20TH: Zgoda casts doubt on the notion that Bennett will end up with the Sixers as part of the deal (Twitter link). That would suggest that Bennett isn’t heading to Philadelphia any time soon as part of a separate transaction, as I explained.

They are reporting it’s going to be expiring a of Shved/Mbah-a-moute and the 1st from Cleveland to Philly for Thad young. Jerry Zgoda is the Wolves beat writer for the Star Tribune and is pretty credible with his wolves news.
