PrimetimeP75ParticipantI understand he has been described as the next big thing in basketball but am I the only one who thinks he has a lot to work on? When being compared with LeBron James I feel that he should be able to bring something with the elite athleticism…In high school LeBron had the killer instinct but also had elite passing ability and was 6’8 240. I just have yet to see that killer instinct in Andrew Wiggins but I guess only time will tell.

HaleParticipantThe thing about Wiggins is that he makes it look so easy when he wants to score and his insane athleticism helps with that. He still has some big weaknesses though. Despite popular belief I think his jump shot is pretty far along, it’s his handle that needs to be his main focus.

tli232Honestly, after watching a bunch of gametape on Wiggins, I think the medium case scenario for Wiggins is young Vince Carter. (ok outside game, amazing hops, ok defender, dynamic scorer) Thoughts?

LindseyParticipantHe’s a pretty dynamic defender too. I really liked the 6’8 westbrook comparison someone was making earlier in the year. With potential for a better jumpshot.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantMy closest comparison so far has been Tracy McGrady. And before people point out that he has more defensive potential, T-Mac was seen as a potential shut-down defender early in his career before focusing on the offensive side of the game. T-Mac’s defensive play had more to do with attitude than ability.
If he has a T-Mac like career (especially with more intensity and better health) he will be worth every bit of the hype he is getting now. He doesn’t have to be the next LBJ, the next super-star will do.

burningfloodParticipantHis nickname, wherever he goes, should be “Ender”
