Wiggins

Personally, I hope he doesn't go to Kentucky. I know the level of competition in practice would benefit him a ton, but they're so deep that I feel like we're not going to see what he can really do. I mean if he goes to UK it seems obvious he would start, which would mean Poythress would come off the bench and I have a hard time believing Cal wouldn't give Poythress at least decent minutes which means it would be those two, James Young and Aaron Harrison all competing for playing time on the wing. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like there's not enough time in a 40 minute game to get all those players the minutes they deserve. I think it would be sweet if he went to any of the other 3 schools he's considering. At FSU we'd really be able to see if he's capable of carrying a team, but I think KU and UNC are his best two options. I would love to see Wiggins and Selden play together at KU, I think they would play great together and be really fun to watch. If he went to UNC it would add a dynamic to the Duke-UNC rivalry we've never seen. Just think,

the #1 and #2 recruits going against each other in one of the biggest rivalries in sports. That being said I think UK is the safe choice and if he goes there I feel like he definitely will be the #1 pick (given it might hide some of his weaknesses), but it'd be awesome if he chose one of the other schools. Any thoughts?

Hope he picks

Any of the schools but UK. Haha call me a hater I accept that but I don't want to see all the stars on 1 team. It creates boring basketball on my opinion. I like to see the stars spread out so you can see who really can shine and carry a team

UNC

UNC is the best place for AW in my opinion. He will be the main feature of our offense but with PJ and McAdoo returning (and possibly Bullock) he wont have to be THE man. He has a great shot to win it all. Gets to play in high profile match-ups (vs parker at dook and vs UK). and not to mention UNC is by far the best school he is looking at (if he ever plans to return during summer years and get his degree)

If Mitch McGary comes back to

If Mitch McGary comes back to Michigan then I would like to see Andrew Wiggins go there.

Albriecht, Stauskas, and LaVet in the backcourt with Wiggins on the wing and McGary inside.

Wiggins would give them another weapon to replace Hardaway and GRIII if they both leave, and gives them a good chance to get back to the Final Four.

I'm a UNC fan and would love

I'm a UNC fan and would love to have Wiggins. However, some of Roy Williams decisions kind of make me like eeeh I just wanna see him shine in the best place for him. The Jabari/Wiggins thing would light a fire into the duke unc rivalry. At Kentucky he could practice against top draft picks everyday and I think that is the best preparation for a one and done. I know it is a lot of people already signed up for Kentucky, but I promise you Wiggins won't be missing playing time behind it. I don't think I could take watching Roy yank Wiggins out for 1 mistake in favor of a blue - steel member.

If anybody has been to Andrew

If anybody has been to Andrew Wiggins games and kept up with him you would know that he likes to float on the perimeter and slash to the whole. If he goes to Kentucky he will be able to do that in Coach Cal's system. At the other schools that he has listed he would be a Power Forward and banging down low. Except maybe Kansas who has a need for a small forward since Relaford is gone.

For Wiggins sake I hope he

For Wiggins sake I hope he looks at the lack of improvement of Harrison Barnes and heads to Kansas, FSU or Kentucky. And there is zero chance that Alex Poythress would take a minute of Wiggins' time if Wiggins came to Kentucky. Poythress is not good, despite what his high school game might make you think.

11 and 6 on 58% shooting as a

11 and 6 on 58% shooting as a freshman on a dysfunctional team that had no one to distribute the ball?? I understand he didn't live up to expectations but saying he's not good is bold. Let's see what he does next year with Andrew Harrison running the point.

.

He should go to a school where it is him and four players with no NBA potential.

It would really show how good he is and if he can carry an otherwise average squad to the promised land.

Him at Kentucky would be no fun. What's the point of him playing with his McDonald's All American squad. I would rather see him bring his team to face Kentucky.

I would like to see him at

I would like to see him at UNC, you get to see the great Duke vs NC rivalry and how awesome would it be to try to see the 2 best prospects for the draft try to lead their teams to the final four and try to take out the loaded Kentucky squad

My quick take

My gut tells me UK. I think he decides to try and make history with that squad. I hope I'm wrong but Coach Cal has proven he can sell a kid on anything.

UNC-Why I don't think he will go there is he would have to play against his parents alma mater 2/3 times in a season and against his best friend. You have to think crushing them by not picking them and then crushing them on the court is not part of this kids charictor.

FSU-Rumors have it they are losing steam. Can he put up 40 a game maybe, but I think he wants to win and that keeps him from playing where his parents wnet.

KU- While they lost their entire starting 5 they have a monster class #2 coming in. Maybe he thinks they are justa little too young in what will be his only year of college. I will say him and Selden together would be awesome espescially kicking out to Conner Frankcamp who is without a dooubt the best shooter in high school. If you have seen him utube his 3 point shoot out win.

I just hope he wants to leave his own legacy and not join Kentucky

Why would Wiggins want to go

Why would Wiggins want to go anywhere where he would have be the only high profile player? He's gonna the "the man" wherever he goes, but if he's only gonna spend one year in college, it may as be some place where he'll be pushed in practice, there will be other good players to keep him from being triple teamed constantly and where he could potentially win a national championship.

If he goes to FSU, it's only to appease his parents. If he goes to Kansas, it will mean Kansas easily wins the Big 12 again, but no chance at the title. If he goes to UNC, it pretty much fits all of the above criteria, but it seems to me like Roy Williams has been doing more harm to guys draft stock and development recently...Harrison Barnes totally stalled out there. If he goes to Kentucky it fits all the criteria, but in an even stronger way than UNC. The coach improves draft stock (not that he needs it), the teammates are better, the chance for a title is stronger.

Just seems to me that Kentucky is the logical fit.

Y'all don't know ball

You don't know ball if you think poythress is anything other then a 2nd man off the bench. Lazy and mentally weak. Can't play d. I know y'all gonna throw some bs 11/6 55+ fg percentage. And the physical tools. But what do your eyes show you. I see a player who will hover on the wing and when he flashes in middle he hoping not to get the ball smh. Wiggins would be guaranteed to start at the 3. If wiggins commits you know James young going to be sad as hell. Bench with kyle, dakari, Marcus, and Alex

I'm glad

A real UnC fan just told the truth about Roy thank you b cart. B swerve u didnt mean what you said about wiggins "shining" in your system because we know that's not true. Wiggins would not be beat used at UNC and Roy isn't the right coach for him. It honestly goes down to Kansas and FSU IMO. He would be the man at both schools but at FSU he would really be pushed to learn how to defend

Do you really think stars on

Do you really think stars on one team make boring basketball? Miami heat isn't boring basketball, the all star game isn't boring, the Olympics isn't boring, and if you like women's basketball UCONN isn't boring. Having stars on one time actually makes more people watch. UNLV 91 Duke with Jay will,Battier,Boozer, mike Dunlevey UNC Dean Smith coached teams. I hope he goes to UK just to potentially see a team go 40-0 in my life time. There will be mouth time for him to get 25/30 ,I'm a game. There is 200-205 minutes to be played in a game an he can play the SG position when Andrew is on the bench and Aaron moves to the point or to the PF. Plus I suspect UK would be blowing teams out so he wouldn't need to play big minutes

There is 200-205 minutes to be played in a game? Do you know something that no one else knows? Last I checked a college game is 40 minutes long.

40 minutes x 5 positions =

40 minutes x 5 positions = 200 minutes

45 minutes (overtime) x 5 positions = 225 minutes

I'm assuming 205 was meant to be overtime and was done incorrectly, but 200 minutes is accurate.

I don't think anyone's

I don't think anyone's suggesting that Kentucky will be boring to watch if Wiggins goes there. Obviously they'll be exciting to watch. When people say it'd be boring I'm sure they're talking about the fact that UK would likely dominate all season and walk through the tourney like they did in 2011-2012, but probably even to a greater extent. I like a little parity in college basketball, I thought the tournament was way more exciting this year with it being so wide open, but that's just my opinion.

I just don't see Wiggins

I just don't see Wiggins going anywhere but FSU. All signs point to him joining his best friend at his parent's school. Him and his best friend decided to make the move from Toronto to Huntington Prep together. What's stopping them from making the move from Huntington Prep to FSU together?

Plus Nick Wiggins (Andrew's brother that plays for Wichita St) said that their parents are pushing for him to go to FSU.
