Why would the Nets draft.....
Well Maybe since NJ is one of the spots Boozer wants to play at...Add Boozer and make a deal..
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lquh4a
and maybe add...Clark or Evans..
maybe a sign and trade for NJ pick plus Ryan Anderson(a poor mans Dirk) the Jazz could have 2 picks this year plus next year probably 2 lotter picks(One from the knicks which could very well be the 1st pick overall)
James Johnson should be a better scorer at the NBA level. Johnson can play both SF and PF. I'm not sure Clark could play PF, he is tall enough but not physical enough. It would be a tough choice. I would pick Earl Clark if I was the Nets just because he is taller and has more potential. Both should be solid pros though so they will get a good player regardless of which one they choose.
yeah, it makes a lot of sense for the nets to draft james johnson over earl clark if they were thinking of getting lebron next year. they don't have an all-star caliber sf yet but they have in other positions (brook, devin, vince) and potential all-star in yi.
i don't think any team is going to be too excited to draft johnson after coming in at 260 lbs. earl clark is definitely more versatile due to his ball handling abilities and length. i haven't seen johnson at this weight, but i would believe that at 260 he'd have trouble guarding at the sf position.
i dont know if im the only one who thinks this..
but the only way yi makes an all star game is if china votes him in.
Clark will rebound better and more consistently than Johnson. His stats in college show that.
Johnson seems like he's a potential "headache" guy. I'd stay away from him. That Wake Forest team should've never lost so early in the tournament. I put the blame on either Johnson or Teague.
Gimme DeJuan Blair over both. Brook Lopez won't be tossed around with that beast beside him at PF.

James Johnson over Earl Clark? I would think Earl Clark is a better face for the Nets franchise as well as being a better overall player...is it James Johnson because they are thinking of picking up LeBron or Melo in the future? Cus idk the big deal on Johnson...i only seen him play a few games but i saw clark almost every game. Let me know wht u guys think!
