Why is Lebron taking the last second/game winning shots?
Because he is their best player.
Did you see that last shot with Luol Deng all over him?
Yeah, that's why..
Yea... Lebron has consistently sucked in the clutch...especially in these playoffs. Going to him at the end of games has really been holding the Heat back in the postseason.
Guys giving "Im Your Father" negatives, clearly do not see the sarcasm.
wade was not knocking down shot and he had his chances to close the game but lebron was on fire so they gave him the ball which was a great move since he won.
although he struggled offensively wade was a man on a mission defensively, blocking everything in the paint.
He is a better player then Wade, and a better shooter.
This is the new and improved "Ninja Assassin Closer Lebron" that is why. Seriously, the guy's balls basically decended during these playoffs. "Game on the line . . . yeah I'm dropping the step back three." "Game on the line . . . yeah, I will take the iso cover (no help!) of the most explosive guy in the league and force him to shoot a pull up 20-foot jumper with my hand in his face." This is the way it is supposed to be when you are supposed to be the best player in the league. Wade knows Lebron is the man and he has been waiting for Lebron to take over and be the top dog.
So far, at this very moment, no one has won in these playoffs more than Lebron.
Im not saying hes been better than Dirk, because Dirk is doing it with about as washed up a team you could possibly do it with, but Lebron's ability to be the guy for Miami has been huge for his legacy. We were all saying in July that if the Heat go far and Wade is the man, itll tarnish that legacy because he wont be looked at as the leader of these teams. But so far its been the opposite. This series in particular, the defense of Bogans and Brewer has litterally shut wade down completely. Lebron has been the man, and although i still havent seen the tied game, 15 seconds left, walk off shot (So far, hes turned it over in game 4 vs Boston, and game 4 vs Chicago in these situations, for you scoring at home) but as far as taking games over, winning games for Miami, and looking like undoubtably the best player on the team, hes done exactly that.

Lebron is an athletic god. There's no disputing that,... but I cannot remember the last time he shook his man for a nice clean look. He bullies his way down low or creates a bit of seperation and hoists one up. Occasionally he'll get the quick first step and just bow down towards the rim. His success rate career wise in those situations is not very high... compared to Wade. Why isn't Wade the Miami closer? The Heat won a championship on Wades closing ability. Wade mixes up his moves, crosses dudes over, shakes and bakes... he always puts himself in a good position to make a high percentage shot or make a pass to a wide open teammate. I'm not saying he makes em all, but Wade won't leave you scratching your head thinking WTF are you doing? Why is Lebron the closer when the Heat have Wade?
