Why I'm VERY dissaponited in the Cavs players
Yea, it was disgusting to watch. I was hoping somebody knocked LeBron on his ass at least.
Mo Williams looked like the only guy who wasn't trying to be cool with LeBron. Did anybody catch right after half-time when LeBron tried to talk to Mo and Mo just walked right past him? LeBron mouthed, "Okay... " and had a look like, "I see how it is."
^^ Yeah IndianaBasketball. I respect Mo Williams for what he did las night. I think during the game, the commentators said that Mo & Antawn Jamison are the only ones that havrn't stayed in contact with him since "The Decision". After "The Desicion", I thought that Mo was a wus because he was thinking about retirement after LeBron left, but after last night, he fully changed my mind.
Mo and Jamison showed a little pride last night, but the problem is... They both played like sh*t.
This was one of those situations where you hoped the underdog jumped up and smacked the favorite in the mouth, but it was the complete opposite and I felt bad for Cleveland. I mean, I at least wish they would've played hard... This wasn't even a fight... It was a brutal murder. LeBron murdered them and then laughed in their faces about it. They were okay with it too.
Watching this game made me appreciate what Joakim Noah did last season even more. Good to see somebody who's still competitive and not on LeBron's nuts.
^^ I agree. They played with VERY little heart and comepletely gave up in the 3rd qtr and let LeBron rip there defense apart. I feel sorry for the Cavalier fans. They all came and packed the house, but the players couldn't feed off all that energy and got DESTROYED. The players should be ashamed of themselves.
Dan Gilbert is a freaking genius... A con artist.
The way he's used this whole LeBron situation as fuel to keep fan support strong. I mean, those fans are still selling out games to watch a terrible product on the floor.
The fans should've boo'd the home team. They should've started a chant at Boobie saying, "Get-off LeBron's nuts."
Cavs are not really that good right now and this is not a surprised to me. They started off pretty good by beating a lot of teams that were vunerable but now with almost 20 games down, teams are not letting them win so easily they have to play better than average to beat most teams and almost have super powers or get lucky to beat a top team.
I mean I'm just throwing this out there, but you don't think it's possible that Lebron is actually still friends with some players on the Cavs. Lots of players stay friends after changing teams, I don't think all the players took it as hard as the fans. Not everyone in the world hates Lebron, he was very well-liked by his teammates in Cleveland.
That being said, they should have showed more intensity, but at the same time, they suck and I don't think they were going to win anyway.
Be friends AFTER the game.
Jordan was friends with Magic. On the court though, he tried to kill him. Jordan was best friends with Charles Barkley and Charles Oakley, but that didn't stop him from killing Barkley and the Suns in the Finals in 93. That didn't stop Oakley and the Knicks from trying to kill Jordan. The same goes for Magic and Bird. Magic and Isiah. That's part of what being competitive means.
We only see and hear what the TV shows us. Alot more goes on then what we think we know
CLEVELAND -- LeBron James may have ruined another friendship back in Ohio.
Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson didn't appreciate some of James' words and actions on Thursday during the Miami Heat star's heated homecoming to Cleveland. James, who scored 38 points in the Heat's 118-90 win, was subjected to almost constant booing, taunts and profanity.

According to Gibson, James dished out a little of his own.
"Some things went on last night," Gibson said, "that I didn't like."
James engaged in some trash talk with Cleveland's bench, jawing at some coaches and former teammates. After making a tough baseline jumper while scoring 24 points in the third quarter, James spun just in front of Cleveland's players and mouthed something in their direction. Later, he and a smiling Gibson exchanged words.
Gibson also took issue with comments that it appeared the Cavaliers were acting too outwardly friendly toward James, who played seven seasons in Cleveland. Center Anderson Varejao hugged James as the teams lined up for tipoff and a few players shook hands or bumped fists with the two-time defending league MVP.
"I've heard that, and that kind of rubs me the wrong way," Gibson said. "We all know LeBron and we all know that he enjoys being in front of the camera. To say we were fraternizing and being friendly ... nobody knows what was said and the things that were said probably could not be repeated right now. We wanted to win the game and those guys brought it to us."
The Cavaliers are now 7-11 without James.
"I think people, from the outside looking in, might say we were laughing and joking with him, but if you could hear the things that were said, you would know that wasn't the case," Gibson said. "There was nothing friendly about the conversation we had."
Gibson said the evening soured his relationship with James, his teammate for four years. Gibson was also upset by the Cavaliers' awful play in front of their rowdy fans, who had waited five months to vent at James for the way he announced his decision to leave.
"I didn't like the way we performed," he said.-espn
Just like the Derek Anderson situation with the Cardinals... I don't know what was being said, but it just looks bad laughing/joking when your team is getting blown out. In Gibson's case, he's literally laughing, smilling at and talking to the player that's killing his team.
Regardless, it looks bad.
The Cavs just dont have any pride, thats all there is too it.
I don't think people are confused about why LeBron left. Everybody understands why he left.
What people don't understand is why he did the Decision, showed such a lack of respect for the city and handled his free-agency the way he did... Why he went and joined another superstar. Why the Heat held a championship rally after free-agency.
Yeah, that was disgusting to watch.. Cleveland as a City possibly the whole Ohio takes a L for that.
You mean NO ONE had to balls to throw anythng?? Had that been Detroit or Philly im not sure the game even finishes lol .
Cleveland def showed me something, LeBron b*tched them all laughing and talking with him at the bench, looking back at them as he shoots fall away jumpers... damn shame if u ask me.
I still like LeBron, people quickly forget that he's been hyped and had his way for a long time. Dan Gilbert and company NEVER said no to the guy and then turn around and act surprised when he acts like d*ck. You created that monster, Now deal, Cleveland.
If MeBron was from Philly he would of been dead haha
In Boobie's defense, smiling and/or laughing is just how some people cope with being antagonized or even sometimes, physically attacked. I do it all the time. Smiling shouldn't always be interpreted as joking around or not being serious. I've seen guys in professional sports and real life get hit, and smile or laugh about it. We don't know the context of the situation to say that some of the players didn't take it seriously just by their expressions although I do agree that the players did roll over for the Heat, and they didn't seem to play hard. All we saw was the outside of everything. We don't know what was said on the court...
Gibson was not happy with that sh!t. He looked like he was pissed and holding back. Lebrons a chump, but so are the cavs cause somebody should have took one for the team and the team could pay the fine. Lebron should have gotten dropped hard. I would like him to say some sh!t to the Celtics and see what happens when he comes to the paint.
Actually, the Cavs wern't happy with LeBron, Gibson said, there was stuff said which was "unrepeatable" which came from LeBron and the Cavs bench. The problem is the Cavs don't have enough basketball firepower, so i already had the Cavs marked down for the L. They need to wait until the draft and grab someone that actually could be something in the NBA (maybe one of the Jones').
It's quite interesting on the Cavs roster, the only player that was picked in the lottery of their respected draft was Jamison.
Gibson: round 2 pick 42, Graham round 1 pick 16, Harris undrafted, Hickson round 1 pick 19, Hollins round 2 pick 50, Jamison round 1 pick 4, Moon undrafted, Parker round 1 pick 21, Powe round 2 pick 49, Samuels undrafted, Sessions round 2 pick 56, J Williams undrafted and M Williams round 2 pick 47, Varejao round 2 pick 30.
4 undrafted players, 6 second round picks and 4 first round picks. Considering this is an NBA roster, it's just incredible.
It's not like the Cavs have any real trade bait, Hickson is okay but i can't see him bringing in any real value, it's either building through the draft or building through the Free agency. or even a mixture of the two.
Anderson Varejao got a $48 million contract because of LeBron. He ought to give the guy a hug whenever he sees him.
Chosen 2!!!
Hmm let me see why they have to play better than average, they have probably on of the worst starting lineups in the league! The only team that can compete with that is Toronto. They start 2 overated players in JJ Hickson and Anthony Parker. Yes I would probably stick with that because they don't have anybody else better. Then they have Varejao who is a great rebounder but just looks lost out their without Lebron. Mo Williams who was the second best scorer when Lebron was there is now depended upon to bring it every game, and of course he is inconsistent as usual. And probably the most inconsistent player in the league. The only player who can compete with that is JR Smith. And then their starting 3 would be getting fringe minutes on any other team. Jamario Moon come on, you can do better then that.
Sad thing is once Lebron left I knew it would be this bad from the start. To have that kind of a supporting cast next to your star player is just disgraceful.

I'm sure everybody watche the Cavs-Heat game last night, and everybody saw when LeBron went off. He scored 38 points, and I think he scored 21 points in the third qtr, somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I am very dissapointed at one thing though; the Cleveland Cavaliers roster. From watching that game last night, they showed me that they still adore LeBron and that they are his "true" supporting cast. They let him come to their bench and let him chat it up with his homie Boobie Gibson, taunt, and showboat them. I am SHOCKED that not one player from the Cavs had the guts to say "GET OUT OF HERE" or something along those. I think that even Byron Scott, since being apart of the Celtics-Lakers rivalry, should have said something to LeBron or told his players to have some guts and talk some trash. You know, I'm fine with Anderson Varejao hugging LeBron at pregame, but if you're going to do that, you better play like you're trying to knock him on his butt every play. In fact,Varejao was basically invisible for the whole game. This game proved the the Cavaliers are a team filled with weak, soft pu$sies.
Am I allowed to call them the Ca-da-valiers now?
