So Clevelands defensive struggles have been well documented and they have been blown out time and time again. Most recently they gave up 125 points to a Pistons team that was inbetween a trade so Bradley, Harris, Marjonovic didnt play and neither did Griffin. Stanley Johnson (26) and Reggie Bullock (22) both recorded career highs in points. Whats going on, and will they turn it around?

I say no they wont. I feel like a good portion of the Cavs roster is filled with players that should honestly have retired a while ago and they have made terrible decisions constructing this roster. Gettin rid of Richard Jefferson was also a huge mistake as he was the one vocal presence that could herd the guys and they replaced him with Dwayne Wade who in all his greatness is a shell of himself. JR Smith (29 mpg), Kyle Korver (22 mpg), Jose Calderon (16.6 mpg), Channing Frye (12.1 mpg) and quite honestly even Dwayne Wade (23.3) mpg are not able to play at a high level. Just a step too slow. Then you have guys like Shumpert and Rose who are always injured. Its nice to have vets but when your whole team is constructed with guys on thier way out the league your gonna have issues.

Clevelands in serious trouble here and I see no reason for Lebron to stay. They owe $82 Mil to Love, Thompson, Smith, Shumpert, Korver and Crowder for the 2018-2019 season and only Shumpert expires for the 2019-2020 season. This is why you dont hand the players the keys to the franchise. When James went to Miami Riley handled him and everyone knew who was the boss.

All your points are valid but as long as lebron is healthy, love is healthy, and it at least regains some of his rythym and explosiveness come playoff time, I’m still picking this team as favorites to come out of the east, no matter what seed they get. I know their defensive issues are real and unlikely to be totally resolved come playoff time, but you have to remember that this is a veteran team that was built for the playoffs. I think they are capable of turning it up just enough to get them to the finals. I’m not saying it will necessarily be easy but lebron has gotten their with less before, and there is no team in the east that I have complete confidence is capable of beating them in a seven game series.

We all knew they wouldn’t get equal value back for Irving because the few PG’s that are on his level are untouchable.

So yes, just like the rest of the world you were right in assuming they lost the trade. You can pat yourself on the back now.

Bullshit, That wasnt the case. Matter of fact..I was grilled on here before the season started for outlining exactly what was going to happen, the Brooklyn pick being a ticking timebomb and also mentioned Brooklyn was going to be profitable and exceed expectations.. they are currently the one most profitable team against the spread in the NBA at 32-20..

If Everyone knew this?! Why did Cleveland make the trade for completely overvalued assets that were products of Brad Stevens?

Danny Ainge slapped the 76ers letting em deal with Fultz

Danny smacks Cleveland twice with a loaded pick and overvalued assets.. Brooklyn is going to get better after the break!

GM of the year in my book! Literally was on it
