who's the most hated NBA player?
Of all time or of now? Im gonna go with Latrell Sprewell. He choked his coach. He got into a fight with jerome kersey at practice and he was kicked out, but he soon came back with a 2x4 and tried to go after him. He made a comment after his pit bulls mauled his daughter that he would never put the dogs to sleep he loves them too much, which was taken wrong by a lot of people. He turned down a 3 year 21 million dollar offer from the wolves saying that wasnt enough to feed his family(he never signed anywhere again).
Also, he's been known to have friendly conversations with the fans:
All time- Spencer Haywood and Elvin Hayes are up there I believe. Isiah Thomas as well.
Now- I really think it's LeBron.
Yeah I think Mr.Knick got it right..
Lebron is the most hated person in the league at the moment.
Right now it has to be Lebron James.
Of all time.... Ron Artest lol dude started the BIGGEST brawl in NBA history, got himself suspended the whole season, half of his teammates suspended, and ever since then it seems as if its left the Indiana Pacers with some type of curse. (Things sure are looking up they already have Danny Granger, and drafted Paul George and.. oh wait, Ron Artest 2.0 ) : X
Me personally, I hate Paul Pierce... I'm a Laker fan, and seeing that Oscar performance during the Finals 2 years ago made me puke!
You can't go wrong with Sprewell either, how you gonna let your dog bite ur daughters ear and be cool with it? And since when is 21 million over 3 years not enough to feed your family??!?!?!? &$#%#&@! it, I change my answer, SPREWELL most hated player of ALL TIME hahaha
Two Years Ago:
Lebron had surpassed Kobe as the best in most peoples eyes and was supposed to lead the Cavs several rings in the coming years and was at the height of his popularity.
Artest was still considered a goon after the brawl and his mini fights with Kobe and was a dirty player like Bruce Bowen but with all the history
This Past Year:
Lebron is known as a backstabber and egomaniac for his handling of this offseason after not being able to get CLE over the top as well as being accused of quitting in the playoffs.
Artest transforms into an absolute team first player without the attitude and distractions. He then comes up big in the finals and hits some huge shots. Then post game he seems like a totally likeable guy.
Who would have thought two years ago or ever for that matter that Lebron James would have been a more hated player than Ron Artest
As for all time its gotta be Latrell for all those reasons. Hes had a few loose screws in his head even through his high school days.
but Ive seen him at the Milwaukee lakefront a couple times with his family and it doesnt look like theyre starving even without all the money he turned down
Hard to argue with Latrell or Lebron. It is hard to believe one bad decision like that could cast a shadow over someone as large as Lebron, but it has happened.
Bill Lambeer has to be in the discussion for most hated. I don't even think most Piston fans liked him.
Have to laugh at Paul Pierces drama in the finals a few years back. He did make an exit like his leg was going to fall off.
how was isiah thomas hated as a player
how was isiah thomas hated as a player
Froze out Jordan and was a main guy who would start stuff and argue on the court to rile up opponents.
Sprewell I think a lot of ppl got over the choking thing, now they have problems with him becaz of his last contract negotiations. The whole I need to feed my family crap but rite now yeah its Lebron esp. in NY, Chicago, Cleveland.
Kobe used to be up there becaz of that whole rape thing some ppl won't let it go.
Artest definately, some dirty players like Fisher, Rondo too.
I'm sure Arenas on this list now and some guys who argue with fans not sure who that is.
Stephen Jackson, Matt Barnes, Rasheed Wallace, KG, Varaejao, Fisher, Vujacic, Kmart, Charlie V., Eddy Curry.
Isiah Thomas of course
Cavs winning several rings with that team funny even MJ couldn't do that.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JpzVq0Yk1g MUST BE !!
LMAO arman.....aren't you the same guy that posted that other rap video? Just leave it to the pros man...
At one point, I hated Artest more than anybody (actually I still do). As of right now, probably LBJ, but I think once the season starts things will change.
Yeah, oden08 has a point. Lebron may be the most hated RIGHT NOW. But as the season starts, that'll start to fade..its really hard to hate one of the top 2 basketball players in the NBA
