Who's the Best Pure Shooter in College Basketball Now?

i would have to say Rotnei Clarke, but i admit i didnt see much of the Vols last season, so ill be looking out for JJ this year

Matt Gatens probably isn't close to being the best, but he is pretty damn good.

Yeah i agree with iggy i didnt know who much about John Jenkins last year but everytime i watch Vandy he was shooting a jumper in somebody face

John Jenkins is cash.com...look out for Mickey McConnell from St. Mary's he led the country in 3point shooting at 51%

John Diebler guy can shoot lights out.

Not sure he is THE best but one for honorable mention is Mickey McConnell of Saint Marys

Ashton Gibbs and Austin Freeman deserve mention as well. As does Jacob Pullen

or probably Hoffarber. I watched quite a few Minnesota games and he can be deadly from real deep and from the floor too.

Mickey McConell is straight up fun to watch beacuse this guy literally shoots from his hip and still wets it in people's mouths....

i think rihards kuksiks of arizona state is the best shooter in the pac 10. His percentage dropped from 44% 2 years ago to 38% last year becasue he didnt have as many open looks with harden gone. But his stroke is pure and he lets them go all the time. He took 8+ three points attempts in thirteen games last year. Here is a quick video of his stroke on an open 3:

I wouldn't call Jacob Pullen a pure shooter, he's a good shooter but not a great shooter, I think he's a better scorer than shooter. Austin Freeman is a pretty damn pure shooter. He's improved so much. 44% from the 3 point line on 133 attempts, 52.5% from the field, 85% from the free throw line.

I'd have to go with Jenkins or Freeman, I think Jenkins will really shine this year, become the true go to guy...there's a lot of really good shooters in college now, I like Freddette too...and No, Iggy, I still don't think his game will transfer well to the league, LOL...

Fredette's crossover is as good as his shot

Just thought it seemed like the right post to ask this question, how good of a shooter is Seth Curry? I can't help but think he will have a sweet stroke.

Yeah shooting is his best attribute. I've only seen him play VERY limited time, but his shooting seems to be his calling card as well.
