Who you want to see in the Dunk Contest and 3 Point Shootout?
I would take out Kevin Love or Richard Jefferson from your 3pt shootout and put Anthony Morrow in. He's one of, if not the deadliest, 3pt shooter in the NBA and it's surprising he hasn't been in the contest already.
3 point shootout:
James Jones
Ray Allen
Kobe Bryant
Paul George
Ryan Anderson
Steve Nash
Dunk Contest:
Blake Griffin
Derrick Rose
Lebron James
Russell Westbrook
This is just who I would like to see, not who I think will actually be in it. Obviously some of these people are very unlikely to partcipate in either competition.
Like Jeff said, just who I would like to see.
3-Pt Shootout
- James Jones
- Ryan Anderson
- Kyle Korver
- Ray Allen
- Deron Williams
- Kevin Durant
Dunk Contest
- Taj Gibson
- Russell Westbrook
- Josh Smith
- Blake Griffin
3pt shootout:
James Jones
Paul George
DeQuan Cook
Kevin Durant
Anthony Morrow
Dunk contest:
Blake Griffin
Terrence Williams
Josh Selby (the man can do a 360 between the legs, I reckon he is good + you always need a rookie)
Jeremy Evans (superathletic)
Sure it's nice to see superstars, but I think it's even better to see the best dunkers in the league. Other possibilities include Nick Young, Will Bynum, DeMar Derozan (I believe he was the best dunker the past two years, he was robbed twice, but I doubt he wants to come back), Paul George
Dunk Contest:
- Blake Griffin
- LeBron James
- Andre Iguodala
- Gerald Wallace
Three-point contest:
- Ray Allen
- James Jones
- Jason Terry
- Kevin Love
- Ryan Anderson
- Anthony Morrow
Dunk Contest
- Blake Griffin
- John Wall
- DeMar DeRozan
- Iman Shumpert
3-Point Shootout
- James Jones
- Ryan Anderson
- Kevin Love
- Paul George
- Ray Allen
- Jimmer Fredette
Markeiff Morris is 5th in the league in 3 pt %, give the rook a shot.
Terrico White has never played an NBA game.
Please, no Richard Jefferson. He has no chance. Furthermore his release is so slow he would not get passed the first 3 ball racks before time expires.
Love watching Ryan Anderson shoot.
Steve Novak.... is he still in the league? Boy can shoot.
I love the guy, but I didn't know he was widely thought of as an elite 3 pt shooter. He is shooting .550, though, so I'd love to see him. I don't think he'll stay in the NBA top 10 3 shooters.
I think he is the most likely player in the league to participate in the dunk and three-point competitions. He can throw down.
This isn't college, guys. Jimmer is shooting .283 from 3. He's made 15 in 14 games. Let's all come back down to earth here. He has plenty of time to make the shootout, we don't need to put him in when he hasn't earned it.
Who do I want to see?
