Who would you take in the draft first and why, Shane Larkin or Lorenzo Brown? IMO these are the next best PG’s besides Trey Burke, I don’t really like MWC as a prospect (TOO SKINNY, TOO BABY FACED LOL)

Brown lead the ACC in assists this year and before the injury towards the end of the season, he was considered one of the best PG’s in College Basketball. I love his height at 6″4 and his athleticism is a little above average. His drawbacks are definitely his age being an old Junior, and he’s only been playing the PG position for 3 years, but he really has leadership qualities and excellent vision.

Larkin surprised me so much this year. I remember seeing him last year and thinking, nothing more than a short PG with above average athleticism. If anything he would have an okay career in Europe, WRONG! Dude is a baller. I said Lorenzo had leadership qualities, Larkin has leadership qualities similar to that of Chris Paul’s. The dude leads by example, mastering the pick & roll, and hitting step back, behing the back treys during clutch situations.

If I had to draft right now, I would pick Lorenzo because of the size and the vision, but it’s a close race for me.

I don’t know much about Lorenzo but to me I’d take Pierre Jackson over Shane Larkin by just a little

Depends on what your team needs. Like Denver goes from speedy pg Lawson to slow miller. Or you could be like LAC and go from cp3 to Bledsoe where both give you speed. Neither are starters but both should be great role players. This draft has a lot of pg depth but only Burke, MCW, McCollum could be rookie starters. Then there’s Schroeder from Germany who I think could be a Rondo-esque type with a crafty game and incredible wingspan to generate steals. He’s got an outside chance of starting depending on who gets him.

I’m taking McCollum and Schroeder over both of these guards.

But between the two I like Brown more… I’m nervous Larkin won’t be able to keep up athletically.
