Who would trade Rubio for wall/turner
Trading Wall and Turner for Rubio would be a really bad idea. For one, Wall and Turner could both have ROY type seasons while Rubio is still in Europe for at least 1-2 more years, Then when Rubio finally gets here, Wall and Turner could already have established themselves as all stars while Rubio could end up being an above average PG. You really can't just assume some guys gonna be a star.
I completely agree with you. Not sure why you negged me. I was talking about from a Minnesota standpoint. Kahn said he wont trade rubio. But i would trade rubio if someone were willing to give me the top 3 picks. I dont assume hes going to be a star. Everyone looks good in highlights. people just keep talking about how they would only trade rubio for wall/turner.
I didnt give you the negative... But yea if that's what you were saying I would take the first 3 picks without even thinking. If I were the Wolves I would have to think twice about a guy like Cousins or Johnson and probably wouldn't do it for anyone out of the top 5.
i would trade rubio for eyenga from cavs thats how bad rubio is
I wouldnt trade Rubio at all.
They definitely will not get suffecient value for him and he is a 1st overall draft pick talent. If he was in this current draft I would definitely have him going 3rd overall to the Nets.He has the potential to be a pure PG hall of famer and sky is the limit for Ricky Rubio. Why would anybody pass that up for lesser value.Wait it out...
Are you from Boyertown?
llalalalala
He was a Top 5 pick because teams knew he would spend 2 or 3 years in Europe.Thats pretty amazing for a player teams know are not going to have him around for 2 or 3 years to go top 5.Just for his rights they passed on Curry, Hall, Jennings, Derozan etc...etc..
If he was ready to suit up he might have gone first overall over Blake Griffin.
Adding to my last statement I would trade Rubio for a Top 3 Pick or a Sign & Trade for a premiere player but that just aint happening.
actually even when he got drafted in the interview he talked about playing in Minny and so on, he was just 5th pick..
even though i think he is not hall of famer i don't see him avg over 15ppg he looks like just smart perfect pg for winning team like Rondo is today but not hall of famer.
remember that Rubio has been playing pro ball at championship level and hitting the weights. I know NJ couldn't afford to trade the top pick, but I wouldn't be surprised if Philly would be willing to make a move.
I was a big Rubio fan last year, but after watching the Euro League title game, I think the Wolves should ship him out for any decent player they can con someone into giving them. Rubio is undoubtedly a great passer, one of the best I've seen. He has good size for a point guard, can shoot and rebound, and can push the ball up court in transition. The knock on him was always that he lacked lateral quickness to guard NBA guards, which is bad enough, but he also gambles too much on defense. The worst thing I saw in the Euro League title game though was that he got stripped -- an elite point guard should not have a shaky handle, especially if he's questionable defensively. Maybe he'll improve with age and coaching, but I say trade him while he's still an unknown quantity -- find a greater fool.
Sac Town for the 5th Pick...Seems like a fair Trade..the Mallofs could buy him out...pair him with Evans and Run and Gun Next Year with a Free Agent or two joining them...
I feel ya on that idea

Im from Minnesota. Rubio could be a really good point guard in the league but. Who would Trade Rubio straight up for wall or Turner? I would Trade him in a heartbeat for one of those two. I would trade him for Third pick also.
