who is THON MAKER???
he will be an interesting prospect to look at in the future, he has a nice drop step hook move, and he's only in the 8th grade so there is plently of time for him to develop even more, and possibly add some weight as well as muscle, hope the best for him.
For him to be so young, the kid displayed some solid funamentals with his low post game, and outlet passing. He can even put the ball on the floor and get to the hoop. I like this kid. Hopefully he comes to states or plays college ball over here so we can get a good look at him. I also think it would improve his game if were to come and play here especially while he is in high school.
Some pretty impressive stuff from the 8th grader, despite the lack of competition. You can definetly see the potential. Runs the floor extremely well despite being 6'10'' allready. Shows a nice touch also, especially with his turn around jumper...Definetly seems athletic enough to play above the rim eventually, even though he is allready dunking with relative ease...I am not a doctor by any means...but I would think he could possibly be a 7 footer by the time he's 18...and you know know how much scouts and coaches LOVE when a prospect is a legitamte 7 feet...Thon highlights starts at the 1:14 mark.
I've played against him when he was playing for St George and the videos don't do justice to just how good he is. He is far and away the best player I have ever played.

Definitely seems like a very interesting prospect...http://prospect-central.blogspot.com/2011/07/thon-maker-shakerthe-fakerthe-last.html
