Who else as seen the Movie "Warrior"...

Just saw it recently and have not been able to stop talking about the film...It is seriuously the greatest sports Movie ever, better than Hoosiers, all the Rocky movies and The Blindside combined...It was moving and I'll admit that I cried like a baby both times I watched it...Anyone with a Brother, Father or Family should watch this film once before It's to late...If it's not nominated at The Oscar's for Best Picture there is something terribly wrong with the Screen Actors Guild...Tom Hardy gives the performance of a lifetime(super siked he's playng Bane in the Drak Knight Rises) Nick Nolte(Star of Blue Chips) will break your heart in this film too...Both lead actors and Nolte all deserve Oscar nominations for their work...anyone else who found it as moving as I did let me know...If I somehow encourage someone else to watch the Movie i'll be happy....

Scottoant93, I heard that from a few people

It was one of those under the radar type of Films that will rock your world...please do let me know if you like the movie after you get to watch it...I found it hard to not compare All 3 charactors to people in my life and myself...I'll talk to you more about the movie after you get to watch It...

You know I will try to watch it

Glad you liked it. I have not seen it, but I will keep my eye out for a chance to. You liked Sucker Punch too, right? It is On Demand right now and I remember you telling me you liked, with the whole graphic novel ish and all.

I watched it a few weeks ago

I watched it a few weeks ago Scare Crow, i thought the action scenes were dope and tom hardy and nick nolte couldn't have performed better as the estranged father/son. However, the unplausible end results frustrated me. Brendan Conlon should have gotten rocked in the 1st round if this was a serious tournament.

Taylor, the ending was perfect

I agree that Brendan was the Underdog of all underdogs but he was always a great fighter he just wasn't "All In" until he was faced with eviction...I loved how Tommy was fleshed out as a Charactor, he was a Hero and he rejected that because of the loss of his Friend in Iraq..Their Father was an abusive drunk who put all his effort into making Tommy the Modern day Theogenes(A legendary Greek Wrestler)...The Moby Dick/Captain Ahab reference was a perfect Allegory, Patty Conlin was very much like Captain Ahab, blinded by his pursuit of the Great White Whale, Patty was blinded by his hopes for Tommy to become Great...The final fight and closing moments of the film was perfectly shot, Tommy had to let his demons die, he had to forgive his Father, his brother Brendan and himself or he faced the same fate as Captain Ahab...

Please guys watch the Film and give me your take on it...

And @ Mikey, I loved Sucker Punch, it was far from being a great Film as far as story and acting is concerned but the Music and Visuals really carry the Film...And the Ending was surprisingly emotional too...Zach Snyder is one of my favorite directors(Next to Ridley Scott, Micheal Mann, Martin Scorsese and Chris Nolan) He did a great job with "300" and "The Watchmen", and I'm looking forward to watching "Man Of Steel" next year...

Let me know if you ever watch Warrior and Sucker Punch, both great films in their own right

AWESOME MOVIE!!

Wow i just finished watching it and Damn that is by far one of the best movies i have ever seen. I absolutely agree with your statement that its hard not to compare the characters with someone in your life or yourself. The ending could have been extended a little just to see the outcome of both their situation but I not exactly mad at it since it ended on a nice moment. Thanks man for introducing me to this movie other wise i would have never thought about watching it. It was a nice blend of real life, action, drama, and sports It better win some awards.

I still haven't seen suckerpunch always wanted to never got the time and then completely forgot about that will probably be next on my movies to watch.

The Blind Side?

A Sports Movie? Ha

You all seem to be forgetting Glory Road, the story of the '64 ('63?) Texas Western Basketball Team. Greatest sports movie ever, and, other than some of the Star Warses and Harry Potters, my favorite movie, period.

Glad you liked it Scottoant93

Did u cry bro??? U can admit it, lol, I cried manly manly tears for Tommy and Brendan...It is my vote for Best Picture(I honestly have not been that moved in a lomg time)...I loved the ending, because I wanted to make up my own end to the story, I'm glad they went the route they did and left it up to Interpretation...I wanna believe that Tommy and Brendan make up with their Father and become a Real Family, I wanna believe that Brendan does the right and gives some money to Manny's wife and kids, I wanna believe that Redemption exist...

If you ever get the chance to watch sucker Punch let me know how you liked that Movie too...like I said above It may not be an Oscar worthy film but it was shockingly moving towards the end and the Music is super good throughout the film...I have no worries about the next "Superman" movie now that Zac Snyder is directing it...

Between The Wrestler and Warrior, I'd have to give the nod to Warrior(which should make it worthy of the Oscar IMO)

Proud Grandpa, watch it and you'll forget all about Glory road

I'm from philadelphia so the Rocky films have always been viewed as untouchable feats of Sports movie magic, but Warrior is 10 times the Movie Rocky was, and that's saying something brother...

Warrior...is the best movie of 2011/2012...it may be one of the greatest Movies ever made, period!!!

If you get the chance to watch it with your sons or grand children you will cry like a baby...That I can guarantee

Did I cry? My eyes got watery

Did I cry? My eyes got watery on more then one occasion lol, One other thing I noticed they timed the music extremely well in this movie, usually in movies they play some random song that is just out of nowhere(seems like they just well lets just place it here without think about it), but in warrior all it seemed just right. I agree This movie was better then rocky, and im italian so that goes along way since you know most of us wont admit anything is better lol. I will be sure to tell you my opinion about Suckerpunch, after i watch it.

Suckerpunch review

I thought it was a pretty good film, I really liked the action, music, and i liked the blonde girl(looked sweet and innocent but damn), and the storyline was definately unique compared to other films i watched. The thing that got me is I didn't know what the hell was going on til about 30 min into the movie(might had to do with people wanting to talk out of nowhere). The ending was a suprise and put it all togather quite nicely, before that i thought there would be a sequel but that took it out of the picture haha. Pretty good movie, i've seen a lot of bad sci fi and this is way better then those that i've seen.

After i watched it i looked up more about the film and apparently Zac Synder took alot of heat for this movie, as reviewers said it involved too much hatred toward women and sexual abuse. I mean it did involve those things, but on the other hand that was the point of the movie and the drive for them to escape as they were basically held captive. I don't know how some of these reviewers have jobs sometimes because some of reviews just seem biased, and makes them just look like bitter people for failed to become directors or actors so there stuck writing about them.

totally agree with your point scott

Reviewers are sometimes way off or biased for some odd reason...I believe in watching a film and making your own review, if you love it then you'll love it no matter what some douche says about it...glad you enjoyed both films and would be interested in some of your choices for movies to check out...

Movies that i enjoyed

Off the top of my head right now I really enjoyed these movies(they are fairly new)

50/50-the comedy/drama with seth rogan and Joesph Gordon-levit. If warrior made you cry, this definately will as well, it was pretty funny but also lets you realize how precious life is. A really good movie.

Hurricane Season- A coach resembles players to form a team after Hurricane Katrina destroys NO. Its also a nice story and no one i know has seen it, my brother in law made me watch it one day, and i really enjoyed it.

The experiment- A really good movie showing what happens when you give someone too much power has adrian brody and forest whitaker. this was based on a true story supposablly.

I know its a little wierd but I also plan on check out that girl with a dragon tattoo movie heard a lot of hype about it and it seemed pretty interesting as well

heres a website that i watch movies on www1.zmovie.tv/. I has almost every movie on here including some new releases.
