Who do you have your eye on this up-coming season (college basketball)

I will be tracking freshman Brandon Knight. While I hate that he went to Kentucky, Ill keep my eye on him nonetheless. I love his approach to the game on both sides of the ball. Anyone who can get it in offensively and defensively grab my attention.

Brandon Knight

Any elite prospect that focuses on his grades and want to earn a degree has me wanting him to be successful. He is an extremely bright kid and I feel that he will have a great impact in the Kentucky offense. Not having Kanter on his team is going to be a big blow, but I still think that he will be able to prove himself and become a high lottery pick.

Perry Jones I can't wait to

Perry Jones I can't wait to see what he can do for Baylor.

Josh Shelby has the potential to light up the NCAA/

Villanova's backcourt of Corey Fisher and Maalik Waynes is gonna be fun to watch both are first round talents and Waynes is lottery bound.

Alec Burks and Corey Higgins and the success they'll have at Colorado.

Terrence Jones is underrated and could be the best player on Kentucky

I'd also have to say Brandon

I'd also have to say Brandon Knight. He has a good head on his shoulders and can play ball too (in the mold of Okafor and Battier). He's a breath of fresh air to the college game, being one of the few future lottery picks that care about getting a degree as opposed to being 'one and done'.

Im looking at

The top teams of the Big Ten. The conference is supposed to be really strong this yr with MSU and Purdue in the top ten and Illinois and Ohio State in the top 25.

They FINALLY beat the ACC in the challenge last yr, but only by one game. Can the Big Ten beat the ACC again and prove that this challenge isn't a waste of time...

I cant wait to see John

I cant wait to see John Jenkins from Vandy and Kemba Walker from UConn. I personally think that hes the 3rd best NBA point guard prospect behind Irving and Knight

Kimmie English at Mizzou. He

Kimmie English at Mizzou. He has nice talent offensively, and he really looks like a good prospect.

Randy Culpepper for UTEP. He's fun to watch and plays so much like Nate Robinson. Athletic, fast, and a nice shooter.

LaceDarius Dunn. He plays so cool to me lol. He has LETHAL scoring ability and underrated athleticism. He plays like an old man at the YMCA.

Chandler Parsons. Gordon Hayward is the next Mike Miller? No. That would be Mr.Parsons. Just watch how he breaks out next year.

Jacob Pullen, Curtis Kelly, Jamar Samuels, and Wally Judge at K-State. I think this may just be our year to truly compete for the title.

Ashton Gibbs of Pitt. I think he has a chance for an All-American season for what should be a Pitt team that looks like it has a top 2 chance at the Big East title.

Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins. Leslie is the best athlete in college basketball, plain and simple. He's fun to watch. Thompkins is IMO the top PF in the nation. He looks like a VERY similar prospect to David West of the New Orleans Hornets.

Isaiah Thomas at Washington. Very fun to watch as a 5'8 waterbug who has elite quickness and impressive scoring ability. If he can prove to play a little more like a natural PG and get efficient as a shooter, while still scoring well, he has a shot to be a 2011 1st rounder.

Harrison Barnes

I'm very excited to see what he can do for UNC... He's no doubt the top prospect but I'm just excited to see him mesh with Roy Williams' system...

I actually Think Barnes will slip out the top spot Fizer

If he has a sub par year and and a team with a good Sf gets the Pick he'll afll out the top spot...

I think Barnes will be good but what's his ceiling...who can he be let in the NBA...he's not an elite athlete and I have to see him really carry that Tarheel Team to put him # 1 no matter what...

Yeah Barnes is the guy I'm

Yeah Barnes is the guy I'm looking forward to seeing; there has been talk of him slipping from the #1 spot and I always love to see how guys respond to that. UNC needs at least an Elite Eight finish for him to retain his top spot in my opinion. Very, very curious about what happens with him this season.

But the guys I have an eye on are

Pg's-Knight-can he can the next great great Cal Pg...Irving-The next Cp3 from Duke???-Selby-The New AI?

-Malik Wynns and Corey Fisher(Big Nova fan and these guys better produce like we know they can probally back ups in the NBA though)

Malcolm Lee( UCLA PG = NBA bound starter ...better not mess with the mojo Ben Howland's got brewing)

Sg's-

Buford(Ohio State's Eddie Jones???)

Burks(gotta see the Buffalo's play more to really see the skills)

Will Barton(I'm a Tiger fan and The Thrill has my pre season vote for best SG in the nation...though I wish he was a lil bit taller...

Ty Honeycutt( I do think he can be a suprise player in the NBA, A better Matt Barnes or Josh Chldress)

Sf's-

Barnes( Duh, he has to live up to the preseason hype and produce big time to warrant it...I wanna see how good he can be and I wanna see it soon)

Perry Jones ( he is the # 1 guy I have on my NBA radar...Now as far as the potential Boom or Bust goes with guys like this, season will go how it goes and a Big year at Baylor will make him The # 1 Pick IMO

Terrence Jones(Yet again another Calipari stud who I think with time will be a top 10 pick and potential Lamar Odom(Heat) Sf in the NBA)

Robbie Hummel( I really believe this guy was biggest lost for team last year...He was poised to be Gordon Hayward lasy year and I think he heals right and comes back strong he can be that prototype Sg/Sf in the mold of Mike Miller ...

Cj Leslie-the word is out he's a great athlete and dynamite leaper...if he has a overall game that translate into the NBA he'll be a lottery pick and guy to look out for if your Team needs some speed and depth at the Sf/Pf spot...

Kyle Singler-He better look like Mike Dunleavy Jr next to Kyrie Irving and win another rin if he wants to sniff the top 20...He's a good but not great player that will be in the NBA as some one's 3rd or 4th Wingman...

agree on scarecrow
I have somewhat of a feeling that Barnes will slip out man because North Carolina's system is more team-oriented which is harder for someone like Barnes to show his one on one skills but who knows... If he will be able to lead this team to as far in the tournament, his stock will remain intact...

Wow I forgot about Cj Leslie

Wow I forgot about Cj Leslie this guy is a freak....

He could move into the top ten easily.

Cj Leslie is well...just something else...

Stay tuned into sportcenter to see what I mean.

This guy can play every position on the court probably. Espcially at the college level.

And Robbie Hummell and Johnson are two other guys i can't wait to see what happens

And watch out for the Orangemen again and their best player...no not Fab Melo..But Dion Waiters....

Dion is ready for primetime beleive me..

Listen if you're gonna be one

Listen if you're gonna be one of those people to just give negative and not comment on why you feel like that particulary post deserves a negative DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT NOW BECAUSE YOU ARE EVRYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GREAT FORUM.

Like Canibus said: "That;s a bich more I feel like a hoe moe talking to you!"

Show your face hate, bring some intelligent conversation this site aint a vote and I care less about votes, but what I do care about is puttin much thought into a post and having somebody just hate on it and not give a reason why.

You are the scum of the earth. Like a guy who crosses a tag name out in graffitti but dont leave a name.

Dion Waiters is the the truth and he is undoubtly the best player on that Syracuse team.

How many people before last

How many people before last season thought that Ekpe Udoh would be the 6th pick in the draft?

CJ Leslie got the tools to sneak up on people.

I doubt barnes slips.  You

I doubt barnes slips.  You don't have to lead you're team far in the tournament in order to be the top pick.
But if someone else projected in the top 3 tales there team far then it's possible(other than kyrie since duke is expected to get there)

Just have to have a good season, which I think he will have. If his team was better then it might be different

I can't think of a potential lotto team that has a lock at the small forward position other than Memphis

Clippers no
Warriors no
Wiz
knicks
Nets
Kings
Philly
Cavs
Raptors

Philly have an olympian and

Philly have an olympian and one of the top 5 small forward in Iggy on their team... They also got Thad Young is athletic freak who an start at 2 guard or PF but his natural position is SF and he still has a ton of potential.

Not to mention the 2nd overall pick Turner looks like he is either a PG or a point forward but not a shooting guard. So Philly has no need for a small forward all 3 of their best players are natural Small Forwards in the NBA.

Oh and the Clips got

Oh and the Clips got Aminu

THe Knicks got Gallo, Chandler, Walker, and Randolph

And the Wiz got Josh Howard, Al Thornton, Nick Young, Yi, and Adam Morrison. They got a lot of options at small forward so it's not an immediate need.

Philly has already said they

Philly has already said they are starting iggy at the two ( have no clue why) and I'd take barnes over young and trade young. To me you already know what type of player he is which is a part time starter. He isn't more skilled then barnes. He's prob better right now because of experience but he doesn't seem to be getting better to me

all the wiz guys you named aren't locks that can't be replaced by a top draft pick

Not sure if u watch the draft

Not sure if u watch the draft much but a good player gets picked number one reguardless of immidiate need. Thoses that pick that way end up picking darko instead of Carmelo just because they have prince.  Yea that was a smart need pick huh. When u have a player like barnes you pick him over just about all the guys you named

Did u really name aminu, thortan, Morrison?  Lol. Is that you khan????

Even with what we know now u think thoses players would get picked over barnes?  Barnes would have gotten picked over aminu this year. As good as gallo is I bet the knicks would trade him for the number one pick

If your the Wizards...There is a guy named Carmelo out there too

The hometown guy + enough money to sign him and another # 1 pick and Star in Wall and Arenas...Their Pick has to be a big man...a PF or C ( Sullinger, Kanter, Thompkins or Fab Melo ) I would go BPA or take the best PF...

Wall-Arenas-Carmelo-Kanter or Sullinger-Mcgee-Hinrich-Blatche-Young-Seraphin-Yi-Howard or Thorton( one would have to go with Melo in town)...If the Wizard got the # 1 pick would they take a SF when they could sign a better SF and home town Superstar ...The Warriors would take Barnes or Perry Jones( I believe they'd take Jones...The Baylor duo of Jones and Udoh back to back)

And Philly would take Perry Jones over Harrison Barnes

Jones has a bigger ceiling at the Sf/Pf spot...I see big things in that young mans young future and I see a very solid NBA career in line for Barnes too...But Jones has that "IT" factor and can be a Durant/Garnett impact player in the NBA....he's a highlight reel and scoring machine...He can be the # 1 pick if he brings Baylor to the 4 final 4 or better( Not out the realm of reality...Butler Vs. Duke???...Not Kentucky Vs. Kansas

Sorry jones doesn't have that

Sorry jones doesn't have that "IT" that kg and durant has. Thoses guys have that drive and motor that jones doesn't have. Jones has talent but doesn't have that IT. Anyone who has seen him play can tell u that

The wiz would pick barnes over a pf in a heart beat. They have there future pf and center in mcgee and blatche. Howard and al are not there future small forwards

But It would be a pick you make to get Carmelo on the Team...

You don't pick Barnes unless you know you can't get Melo...I mean the Wiz have the Cap to sign him...The Former # 1 Pick John Wall...A number # 1 pick in Barnes/P.Jones/Kanter or Sullinger(any of which could probally play with Melo at the Pf or 6th man role...but for the sake of potential I think Perry and Kanter would rank highest on my list...They can both be better than Blatche right now...and I'd build around Wall/Arenas/Melo/Jones or Kanter/Mcgee/Hinrich and Blatche...that would be enough to compete in the East for a Long time...

The Wizards would have a Top 5 Potential Pg in John Wall...A Sg that can score with the best of them in Arenas...

A guy that matches up with Lebron as well as anyone In Melo at the Sf...A top 3 pick and potential match up for Bosh in Perry Jones or Enes Kanter at the Pf and some nice young bigs Blatche Mcgee and Serraphin to play Center...Yi and and a FA Center could also provide great lenght to match up with the Big Boys...

how you figure kanter can be

how you figure kanter can be better right now?..the guy has proven nothing except against hs players and euro young guys. when matched against college bigs he struggled during the summer. his game is more about physical then skills(although hes skilled) and when he gets to the nba playing against those bigs its not gonna be pretty( just like against the college bigs)

No way Jones has the same "it" factor that Durant and Garnett had.

It's not hating, it's simply reality.

agreed. i remember watching

agreed.

i remember watching kg in clips and seeing that fire he had. he had that mean streak to just dominate. and at camps he did just that. no one ever said " he sometimes coasts or doesnt play hard"

i watched durant and although he didnt yell as much as kg he had that fire too. the stuff you say durant do in fiba like beating his chest he used to do the same thing in hs. he would go hard all the time never were there times where he coasted either

perry is very talented but still raw. you cant tell by the clips but watching awhole game of him you can see it. he has all the tools to be a allstar except the motor/go hard. im still tryna figure out a player who was like that then all of a sudden started going hard and had a high moto late ron in there career and i cant think of anyone

even tmac had it even though it was calm and smooth he still would dominate
