Which type of player do you prefer?

I am curious of what type of player will you rather be and WHY?

Player A- A player that brings consistency every night. From his rookie season to his 8th season, he goes out averaging 18-25 ppg... (Think of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade)

or

Player B- A player that has a rough start in his career but soon picks it up in the next couple of seasons... From an average of 6ppg, he goes out averaging 18-27 ppg the next 5 seasons... (Think of Kobe Bryant, Michael Redd, David West, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone etc...)

i think every player should

i think every player should want to be one who improves and gets better. BUt a lot of those guys you mentioned that started off strong absolutley fit that cateogry just as much as the guys who started slowly and worked their way up. They just got off to different starts in their careers for different reasons.

First of all your example for

First of all your example for player A are all Hall of famers and the David West and Michael redd? dude i would like to have Kobe or Michael or malone and i would like to have them with good Rookie seasons but i just think the question is odd because you take Michael for example and say he makes 18-25 ppg? and then David West with 18-27? that would mean West is the better scorer than Mike right?

you just picked real bad examples!
