Which of these Combo Guards has the best chance to be an NBA PG??
Who do you guys think among the list has the best chance and skills set to translate as an NBA PG?
When Warren was out a whole year, he played PG and was effective.
As a POINT GUARD, i'll go with Terrico White, he played well at point guard when he got time at the position..
But as an overall player, Im taking Bradley
Avery Bradley. He can play PG, but as a Mario Chalmers or George Hill type.
Terrico White has never seemed like a PG to me. Even when he played PG in the stead of Chris Warren when Warren was out , he was obviously not a PG. He barely averaged 2 assists a contest, and he doesn't show off much passing or ball-handling to be an NBA PG. Even in spurts. He did an admirable job playing PG that year, but he'll rarely see minutes at PG in the NBA, if at all.
I think Warren has showed us he isn't a PG with his season at OU, i would say that Bradley will have the best chance but i can't really see any of them as pure PG's.
I think Willie warren we be a steal if he falls to the late first round or second round, remember he wasn't healthy last year.
I think Warren does the best overall but Domonique will put up decent numbers immediatley given an opportunity (9 or 10 ppg). Remember Warren was a projected top 10 pick last season and he is just a victim of a stronger draft.
Terrico White. Like someone said before, when he was a Freshman he played the point for Ole Miss and was looked at as a potential top 10 pick before Chris Warren got healthy and ruined his draft stock. Sure he didnt get alot of assists, but in all fairness who does Ole Miss have on their roster that could score? I cant think of anybody other than the other wing that they had (whose name escapes me at the moment).
I think Terrico White could be the steal in this draft. I think his upside is as high as anybody's not names Turner, Wall, Monroe or Cousins.
I'd have to say Terrico White or Elliot Williams, as they are the only ones that have shown PG mettle in my eyes. All of the others are just pretty much just undersized 2's with good scoring ability. None of them have really shown anything that would make me consider them a PG, other than the fact that their size suites them better for that position than an NBA 2-guard.
i agree with Mr.6000 Bradley is going to impress alot of people in the upcoming weeks
Yeah he'll impress everyone with his freakish wingspan and top-level athleticism, but as solely a basketball player, his game leaves a lot to be desired right now.
I never see him being a pure point guard, but whatever position he plays, I see him being successful and suprising quite a few people.
Avery Bradley hands down
all the other guys u listed r 1 deminsional players(scores and thats the only thing they specialize in.) they have ht of pgs but play like a sg
has the best chance becuase he is a ball hawk on defense. the kid can gaurd with the best of them and never quits. I think in a little while he will make the transition pretty easily. he jus needs the rite coaching staff and team. warren would be my 2nd pick because of his ability to score but at the same time hes not really a guy who tries on defense. rarely does he ever gaurd the other teams best player
