Which team would win the NBA title if...

Look, I'm bored, sue me. But I was just wondering, if you took of the best player from each team, who would be the best team in the NBA?

Consider these line ups:

Atlanta: Johan Petro, Paul Milsap, Kyle Korver, Lou Williams, Jeff Teague

Boston: Kris Humphries, Jeff Green, Gerald Wallace, Marshon Brooks, Avery Bradley

Brooklyn: Brook Lopez, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Joe Johnson, Tyshawn Taylor

Charlotte: Cody Zeller, Bismack Biyombo, MKG, Gerald Henderson, Ramon Sessions

Chicago: Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng, Jimmy Butler, Kirk Hinrich

Cleveland: Bynum, Thompson. Bennett, Waiters, Jack

Dallas: Dalembert, Marion, Carter, Ellis, Calderon

Detroit: Drummond, Smith, Jerebko, Knight, Stuckey

GState: Bogut, Lee, Iguodala, Thompson, Douglas

Houston: Asik, Smith, Parson, Harden, Lin

Indiana: Hibbert, West, Granger, Stephenson, Hill

Clippers: Jordan, Griffin, Barnes, Reddick, Collison

Lakers: Kaman, Gasol, Young, Meeks, Nash

Memphis: Gasol, Davis, Prince, Allen, Conley

Miami: Andersen, Bosh, Battier, Wade, Chalmers

Not sure who Milwaukee's best player is

Minnesota: Pekovic, Williams, Brewer, Martin, Rubio

New Orleans: Smith, Anderson, Aminu, Evans, Holiday

New York: Chanlder, Bargnani, Metta, Shumpert, Felton

OKC: Perkins, Ibaka, Brewer, Sefolosha, Westbrook

Orlando: See Milwaukee

Philly: See Milwaukee and Orlando

Portland: Lopez, Robinson, Batum, Matthews, Lillard

Sacramento: Thompson, Landry, Mbah a Moute, McLemore, Vasquez

San Antonio: Splitter, Duncan, Leonard, Green, Joseph

Raptors: Valunciunas, Johnson, Novak, DeRozan, Lowry

Utah: ?

Washington: Nene, Okafor, Webster, Beal, Maynor

Grizz, Bulls, Heat, Nets and Spurs are still contenders in my book. I have to give the title to the Spurs.

I thought the post was about

I thought the post was about to say:

"Which team would win the NBA title if...Lefteris Bochoridis was drafted NOW."

Damn that EuropeanBaller and his offspring in the forums.

Pistons

Singler would start over Jerebko at sf for the pistons

Thunder

I could see him struggle against an elite D without a second banana but other than that I think he could hit 30-6-5.

Still think the Heat win.

Still think the Heat win. Bosh and Wade are the best combination left on the board, pairing them up with Chalmers, Anderson, Battier, and Ray Allen off the bench.

Not a chance unless Wade

Not a chance unless Wade starts taking whatever Kobe is on. That team would probably only make it to the second round man, Indy, Bulls and Brooklyn are all better than them.

Teams that would be better (no order):
Bulls
Pacers
Nets
Spurs
Rockets
Warriors
Grizzlies

Also OKC might be in there, he screwed up the lineup as Brewer is a free agent.
Perkins, Ibaka, Thabo, Lamb, Westbrook

Harden certainly had a better

Harden certainly had a better year than Howard this past season but I would say Howard will be the more important player for Houston going forward because of his defense and rebounding.

Harden had 12.8 win shares in his best year in the league this past season. Dwight Howard had 4 years in a row better than that while he was in Orlando before his injury plagued final season. He also had four years in a row with a better PER than Harden had (23.00) this last season. These numbers tell me that if Howard regains form before his back injury he will be more important than Harden even though Harden has been spectacular.

This also leads me to believe Houston would be a serious contender in your scenario because they would have the best remaining player in my opinion.

Agree here, not too long ago

Agree here, not too long ago Dwight was considered top 3 to 5 and now he isn't even the best player or most important on his team. You can either see this as a knock on him but the growth of James Harden is really insane. Last year when the season started right after he was traded I was on vacation in Thailand and when I checked the highlights and box scores of his first few games it was clear to me he has finally arrived as a top Tier player. If he works on his defense he is the full package.

HEAT are still pretty good.

HEAT are still pretty good. Pacers look quite dangerous. Warriors would be hard to stop. Nobody would want to face Chicago. Nice thread.

The Wolves look like a good

The Wolves look like a good team. The Grizzlies could be close to what they are now. I think Pacers would be a good team to win it all too.

The Bulls and Rockets are

The Bulls and Rockets are basically the same as they were last year, so Id have to go with one of them. Picking The Bulls in six over The Rockets.

Indy

If Granger is healthy, he makes up for a lot of what George's absence brings. I think they would be the team to beat.

Zach Randolph is Memphis'

Zach Randolph is Memphis' best player ? I think it should be Gasol or maybe when he chosen Defensive player of the Year I was dreaming :) Other than that great thread, verry interesting. Well done!
Some of the team look pathetic without their best player (Kings for exmpl) . I like I ondy - verry solid,Dallas too -s urprisingly Cavs don't look crippled in w/o Kyrie and Bulls form last season is Ok.
