Where Lebron should go if he wants to win multiple rings.

He should go to the Oklahoma City Thunder. I know it sounds crazy that he should go to the west because the Lakers are there, but the teams in the west are better built and him joining the Thunder puts them over the top just needing a solid big. Lebron and Durant would be the modern day Jordan and Pippen, closest thing to it. Lebron needs to make himself a legacy before marketing himself, and him going to OKC won't be career suicide by any means because Durant is doing pretty well if you ask me. Thoughts??

I don't think he would say that. llperez, I am happy you commented on this. If Lebron went to OKC, how scared would you be of the Thunder??

i thnk they would be right

i thnk they would be right there as the favorites with anybody. There would have to be a sign and trade involved becasue they only have like 10 million available. So green or somebody would have to get sent out to make it happen. But of course that would be super scary. Especially if harden and ibaka continue to develop

If LeBron was to go to OKC,

If LeBron was to go to OKC, they would be championship contenders as soon as next year. This is my projected starting 5 for OKC next season if they they actually got LeBron.

PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Kevin Durant
SF: LeBron James
PF: Jeff Green
C: Nenad Kristic(if he returns).
6th man: James Harden

sounds good on paper

but honestly i dont think it would work or happen. i mean durant is a budding superstar who is on his way 2 being compared to lebron and i jus cant see him wanting to play alongside sumbody who could derail his progress. and 4 the record id like 2 see where durant said he doeswnt want lebron

wrong

Idk what LeBron u are watching but he is much closer to Dr J/Magic Johnson than MJ. Not saying he cant win 6+ rings, cuz even thou I aint a fan I still think he can, but Durant has that same potential. No idea how U could see otherwise.

Magic Johnson

I see Magic Johnson potential in Lebron.....I have also stated on many occasions that Magic may be , dare I say, better than Michael.....having Magic Johnson potential is pretty sweet as far as I'm concerned....

no doubt

I don't argue that at all. But the Magic over MJ statement is outlandish haha. Top 10 Player ever but not MJ. Same initials and look who gets to be called MJ lol.

Magic vs lebron

Magic had a much better post game AND was a better passer and shooter. LeBron is a better athlete and stronger.

Can we be serious? The teams

Can we be serious? The teams we should just consider are

Knicks, Bulls, Cavs, Nets

those are it.

If that is all Lebron is

If that is all Lebron is thinking, then he is being foolish. Lebron will surprise us all where ever he goes, and he is better off going to the west coast rather than the east coast.

He would be foolish because

He would be foolish because the better teams are in the west. He already is a global icon, he could go to Olympiakos and they would televise his games here. Same goes for Kobe, Jordan, etc.

But it easier to make it to

But it easier to make it to the finals in the East IMO.

Lebron should and most likely will remain in the East. I don't think he sitting back saying " Sacramento or Memphis? Milwaukee looks nice. Golden State is looking pretty good right now"

I'm pretty confident, once LBJ gets contract offers he will stick with the main horses in this race.

Yeah lets talk about the

Yeah lets talk about the front runners Realsportsnet, and how only the Knicks, Bulls, Cavs, and Nets have a chance? Seriously. What makes those teams any better then any other team that could make a sign and trade, or just sign him? I still laugh every time someone mentions the knicks because its a zero percent chance that happens. The Nets didn't get the first pick so they are out as of now. So that leaves the Cavs and Bulls to you? Really, any team with cap space can sign him at this point, and the Thunder are the best young team in the league so why not?

Mr.greener, I can tell what

Mr.greener, I can tell what team you root for, and I hate you for it. I am not one to think Lebron is coming here. I also don't think there being nothing to do in OKC means much to Lebron since they travel half the season, he can live elsewhere in the offseason. He wants to win, I hope. If winning meant playing in Alaska any competitor would go to an undesirable location.

what does him owning cowboy hats have to do with him playing in OKC? I live in OKC and I HATE the Cowgurls!!! Anyway this is highly unlikely but it would make the Thunder virtually unstoppable w/ Lebron James, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook.

Chicago

He can win in Chicago???? Or am I being shortsighted???? I have always hailed Chicago as the perfect spot for Lebron to carry out all his hopes and dreams.....its nice to see it maybe could be coming true.....

Depends

Lakers, Celtics, Mavericks, Magic, Hawks, and Jazz are places he should go if he wants to win titles. But realistically, by teams that can afford him, would be the Bulls. They got good young players in place (Noah, Rose, Gibson) and if Lebron goes to Chicago, he would either play SG (a thin position after the Gordon departure) or SF shifting the bulls second best player (Deng) to the sixth man spot. The Bulls would become a 4-5 seed, maybe higher, if they sign Lebron and pick up a good SG in the draft. Rose has superstar potential, and I think Rose and Lebron teaming up would be a scary duo to deal with.

Rose

the main thing about DA BULLLLSSS is that they already have a superstar player who doesn't demand superstar attention and superstar shots....imo Derrick Rose is the perfect fit as the next Pippen.....

the HEAT???

How can there be a post about where LeBron should go and no one even mentions the Miami Heat? They would be incredible with Wade and LeBron, just look at the Olympics as proof.

Both want to win and are good friends. LeBron called Wade when Miami was down 2 - 0 to Dallas in the NBA finals to give him his support and Wade called LeBron when they were facing San Antonio in the finals.

After resigning Wade and signing LeBron, Miami would still be as far under the cap as the Thunder. Players would be willing to take huge pay cuts to play with those two (Tracy McGrady???). They would still have Beasley who they could trade or start at the 4. Chalmers and Cook would be under contract and they have 4 picks in this deep draft (there will still be talent in the second round) including the 18th pick.

With the remaining +$10mil they could fill the voids at PG and C. There are some quality free agent role players:

C: Brad Miller, Shaquille O'Neal, Brendan Haywood, Drew Gooden, Jermaine O'Neal, David Lee, Channing Frye
PG: Shannon Brown, Luke Ridnour, Keyon Dooling, Chris Duhon, Mike James
