Its increasingly obvious that Love will be out of Minny by the draft most likely.

Flip Saunders would lose his job if Love were to walk out of Minny uncompensated.

So the question is where is his destination? We all know its coming, theres really only a few places he could go, either Boston, Phoenix, GS, Chicago and Cleveland (LOL).

    What do you guys think?

I think GS will figure out a way to get KLove there. I could potentially see them but if not then he stays in Minny for another year

Tink it will be Brooklyn. Lopez would be the best deal for Minny, too.

As a Bulls fan, I’m hoping Chicago. However, if cost is more than 16th pick in draft, our #1 next season, some #2’s and one of either Mirotic, Gibson or Butler, cost will be too high. He would be a great fit with Bulls who could also part with Boozer’s expiring contract. I don’t think any other team can combine talent and draft picks like Bulls, so I think our chances are ok. I’m not a Melo fan and think he wouldn’t be a good fit to Bulls, but compensation would be much less significant. It will be an interesting off season for Chicago Bulls.

If you don’t think Mirotic and #1 picks aren’t of value, Bulls have no shot, but who does????????????

Chicago has some very interesting pieces to offer to Minnesota, but the problem is I don’t know if Thibbs would agree to part ways with some of then, specially Gibson and Butler. I think Minnesota would only agree a deal involving both of them and some complementary pieces. For me Love would end up playing this year in Minny and who knows then? Next year the Lakers could form a good team to convince him to play for them. He would be playing at home, so there are a lot of possibilities. If I have to say which team he could end up playing this year (because he demands a trade) I say Golden State. They have some very attractive pieces and a team that is contending in the West. Don’t know what exact deal they could offer, but some other users have been posting some possibilities for a long time.

what Chicago offers (I am sure they make an offer) will not be decided upon by the coach.  The GM & President  (Forman and Paxson) will decide what is best for the short and long term success of the Bulls.

I would say my top 3 choices would be Boston, GS, or CHI. It’s a interesting topic because there are a lot of teams trying to get him but will he sign up for more than 1 year is the huge question a lot of teams be to ask themselves before they go after him.

He either really wanted to go see the Red Sox play, or he has decided that Boston is somewhere to go after talking to Bill Walton.

I will guess the second option, but if Minnesota don’t trade him then a year from now Love will sign with the Lakers, maybe after talking to Luke Walton.

Celtics have the most to offer with Sulliger or Olynyk, Brandon Bass, 6, 17, and future picks.

The Celtics can also throw in Phil Pressey and Chris Johnson.  Two young guys on cheap contracts with some talent.

Lakers as a free agent if Minny doesnt trade him. Celtics if they trade him becuase they have good assets to send Minny.

    Love for Lee and Barnes?

Minny get a young player with upside, and a solid 20/10 guy in Lee.

I’d love to see Barnes and Lee for Love, it would be the perfect fit for Barnes alongside a pass-first point guard like Rubio and for Golden State they fix their starting lineup by countering the loss of Barnes’ shooting with the arrival of Iguodala by adding shooting at the PF spot in the form of Love.

Chicago would be a good place for Love, too, but they might have to give up too much.  If they have to give up Taj Gibson AND Butler along with 16 and 19 then that might be too much.

I think Carmelo Anthony would fit in better with Chicago.  Chicago can trade Boozer, Dunleavy, Mirotic, Snell, 16, 19, 49, and a future first round pick, and STILL have an awesome starting five of Rose, Jimmy Butler, Carmelo, Taj Gibson, and Noah.  … for NY, the main pieces for them would be Mirotic, Snell, 16 and 19 plus Boozer’s large expiring contract.

If I were Chicago, I would ONLY trade one of these three: Butler, Mirotic, or Gibson.  If they traded Jimmy Butler, they would still have the same great front line of Carmelo, Taj, and Noah, then they put Tony Snell and Kirk Hinrich at shooting guard next to D Rose.  I could also see them going after a veteran free agent shooter like Mike Miller.  MM can shoot the 3, spread the floor, pass, and rebound.  He is basically a small forward now but can also play some shooting guard.

If they can bring over Mirotic as a sixth man then they would have 3 solid bench guys in Mirotic, Mike Miller (if they can sign him), and DJ Augustin.  Ronnie Brewer would give them another option on the wing if he is not involved in the Knicks trade.  Augustin, Hinrich (they start Tony Snell), Ronnie Brewer, Mike Miller, and Mirotic would actually be a pretty solid bench if they could get a cheap center and an extra power forward.  In the starting lineup, Rose and Carmelo can score from anywhere.  Noah and Gibson can crash the boards and score inside with Noah also being an excellent passer.

Boston needs a SUPERSTAR.  Kevin Love would give them that.  With Rondo, Jeff Green, Avery Bradley, and Olynyk I could see them making the Eastern Conference Finals next year if they could find some guys to help protect the basket.

If I’m dealing with Boston, the future Brooklyn picks HAVE to be included. Its not inconceivable that those picks could be of the top 10 variety.

    Love/Budinger/Barea for Green/Wallace/Bogans/Olynyk/#6/Brooklyn future pick

Minny lets Boston out of garage contracts in Bogans and Wallace. Budinger is a buy low guy who would serve as a solid rotation piece.
