Where do you have John Henson?

It's driving me nuts. I can't figure out where he'll go. At first I had him at 9 to Detroit, but I realized after hearing rumors that they like Meyers Leonard, then I slid him to Portland at 11, then Houston at 14 and realized neither of those teams want a 4 but instead both are looking for a 5... so he got pusheed to Dallas but I think Dallas has his twin in brandan wright. Then he got pushed to Denver at 20 where he currently lays. what about u guys?

I honestly think of him being

I honestly think of him being a good fit for the Celtics and I think thats where he should be drafted. Not sure if it will happen because maybe a team might be desperate (hopefully not my Sixers) for a big man with shot blocking ability so he could go earlier but henson as a Celtic sounds good.

9th to Detroit. There is also

9th to Detroit.

There is also a chance in my mind that Sacramento will trade Tyreke plus the 5th pick for a proven veteran and move down a bit in order to grab him.

i have him 18th to minnesota.

i have him 18th to minnesota. They dont really need another pf, but they do need length and shot blocking along the front line and someone who brings defense first and foremost. As for going higher, im just not really big on henson and dont see him as a lotto talent.

I'd take Perry Jones and

I'd take Perry Jones and Leonard before Henson at 9 and both should be available

I've been literally having

I've been literally having the same exact problems. He's one of the toughest picks to project in this draft.

I see alot of people

I see alot of people comparing him to Noah and Dalambert..He plays like neither of those guys..He's more like John Salley to me..A guy that will come off the bench, give you some shot blocking, defend, grab a few boards and run the floor and get easy points in transition....Any team selecting him in the lottery will be disappointed,..He should go in the 15 to 25 range,to a team that needs a frontline backup help..

his right range is basically

his right range is basically in the mid first round, he will go 15 or 18 to Phili or Sota who both need interior defense!!

He wont

John won't fall outside the top 15. There's no way. Too much game changing potential. Anthony Davis Light

I've got him going 9th to

I've got him going 9th to Detroit, and he shouldn't fall any lower than 15th. I like Henson's upside a lot. He's improved his game immensely from his Freshman year to his Junior year. He's got good height and athleticism. He's got great length. He can run the floor well. Offensively he has an underrated post game, and is able to knock down the mid range shot. Defensively he's a decent post defender and a solid shot blocker. He needs to add strength, but that shouldn't be too hard if NBA personel get him on a program. I can see him adding 20-25 lbs without sacrificing any of his athleticism.

have him going 20 to Boston,

have him going 20 to Boston, he slipped past 15 to Philly because Sully was there. Denver just took Faried last year, so I don't think they take Henson who's sorta the same player.

I could see him going to a

I could see him going to a few different places actually. He'd be a good fit in quite a few places with what he brings to the table. I don't see how people are saying he'll dissapoint if drafted in the lottery? If you're looking for and get a shot blocking rebounding garbage man type with potential to develop and that's what he gives you... where's the dissapointment?! No one is taking Henson expecting him to be something completely outside of what he already is now which is a rim protector with potential to further develop on both ends. I'll take a Marcus Camby clone on my team anyday.

yea he'll block some shots

yea he'll block some shots and rebound, but if you take him in the lotto over a guy like Perry Jones who lets say happens to reach his potential, well then you kinda look stupid as you could've gotten an all-star over a role player. I know it seems like Henson is a safe pick, but not there's a chance he may not survive in the league cause of he isn't very strong and could get pushed around, so there's risk with him.....and every player you draft basically.

This is where GM's make their money get a role player or risk on a superstar talent, but yea.

I don't know if he does slide

I don't know if he does slide that far but I have him to the Celtics. A lot of people don't think he will last that long but guys slide every year. I don't see him in Sac or GS. I think Detroit goes Leonard. NO, Mil, Phx, all have similar players drafted recently. Maybe Philly at the earliest for me but I have him dropping to 21.
