When was the NBA stronger?
In terms of talent and teams.....when was the NBA stronger 1993-1995 or 2005-2007?
When Jesus was born.
^ The average height for men 1,000 years ago was between 5'5'' and 5'7'', I'd be in the NBA back then, lol
....... I asked a serious question.
I dunno man, I feel both periods were almost a changing of the guard almost. In 1993-95 Jordan, Magic and Bird were recently retired and although there were a lot stars from the past 5-10 years still in the league the teams at the top were really changing as well as an influx of young stars like Shaq, Zo, Penny, LJ, C-Web and others really making their presence felt.
2005-2007 I think you could say the same thing, with guys like Iverson, McGrady and Vince, although still good becoming less relevant as a group of young stars like Lebron, Melo, Howard, and Wade making their impact felt.
I'd still go 1993-1995 because I think the teams at the top were stronger despite recent expansion weakening the bottom teir of the league. I'd love to see the 1995 Rockets match up with the 2007 Spurs.
Now is not that bad but it is just that there are more team and a few of them like, Minny, Cavs, NJ suck right now. the crazy thing is if you took a way a few team and not even on that contraction thing, the NBA would be just as good. I hate the way the official call stuff right now but as far as teams, it is great. You have a lot of team making moves though so I think the short chemistry span makes a few team look average on some night when they are clearly better.
When Jackie Moon was the top pf in the league
