Whats the prediction of the kings record next year with Knight, Walker, And Jimmer?

I don’t predict records because you never really know what’s going to happen. But here’s what I’m thinking.

Knight: Not gonna happen unless the Kings trade up. Knight is pretty much a lock for the 3, 4 or 5 spots. He is not going any lower than 5.

Kemba: That’s more likely, and probably the best pick. Really the only difference between Knight and Kemba is Knight is bigger. That does make a big difference defensively but that’s it. Kemba can pass just as well as Knight can. He can shoot just as well as Knight can too. If the Kings select Kemba at 7, like I expect then you are not losing much with Knight. (Just the height difference and that’s it.)

Jimmer: Is probably the worst choice. To me he is not really a Point guard but more of a combo guard. Kemba is like that too but his passing game, I believe, is much better than Jimmer’s. Jimmer will pass and play defense, but I don’t think he can do it like Kemba can simply because he hasn’t the chance to do it at BYU. (All four years were dependant on him to shoot. That’s all he did was shoot. So if he could pass and play defense before college, those two things have had a serious break and he’s probably rusty at both passing and defense, simply because he never had to do it at BYU.)

So basically what I’m saying is that for the Kings the best option is to try and trade up to get Knight but if not then draft Kemba at 7. But don’t go for Jimmer unless for some reason Kemba becomes a top 5 pick too (but I highly doubt that will happen.), and Jimmer ends up being the only PG left.

Kemba is the best option, unless the Kings can do some wheeling to dealing to get a top 5 pick. If that happens then they need to draft Knight. The only reason why the Kings should draft Jimmer is if both Knight and Kemba are gone by the 7th pick. (Which will likely not happen)

In my opinion Jimmer is actually the BEST fit for the Kings. He doesn’t always have to be handling the ball with Tyreke, and will be able to play off the ball aswell as with it. His shooting and scoring ability with compliment Tyreke’s Slashing ability, and Jimmer is a better passer than you give him credit for. I feel like this is the best pick for both the Kings, and Jimmer.

I think if Williams and Kanter come off the board 2 and 3 the cavs would be willing to trade down. Maybe Jason thompson and the 7th pick for the 4th.

I don’t have Jimmeritis, and I actually think he’s best for the Kings. You can’t complain about him being a PG/SG combo without making the same argument about Knight/Kemba. The Kings desperately need someone with his head on strait, a good shooter, and someone capable of dishing the ball a little bit – and Jimmer gives you that. Every workout he’s been too, his play making, speed/agility and passing were complimented and rated better than what mock draft sites are saying – so theres probably something there. I think he can improve the Kings, but if the Kings want to improve it’s more about how Tyreke and especially Cousins do to improve their game.

Not gonna mention Knight – unless a catastrophe happens he’s not slipping that far.

Kemba is a shorter version of Tyreke IMO. He’s gonna slash to the rim, draw contact, and make plays. He can dish the ball and IMO a better passer than what’s being said about him. Remember his 1st 2 years he was more of a dish first guy. I think he brings leadership to the Kings but for whatever reason just my opinion I see him clashing a bit with Tyreke. Kemba is a leader and will do best on a team that doesn’t have as big of personalities as the Kings IMO.
