What is your height and wingspan?
6' with a 6'6'' wingspan. Played forward and point guard in high school
6'10"?? Christ, I hope you're a monster defensively....
Height: 6'2"
Wingspan: 6'4"
I'm 6'6
206 lbs
6'10 wingspan
Hah, must be nice to be you
Height: 5'6
Wingspan: 5'7
5'8" 159 pounds, 6'3" wingspan.
I am only 5 9 and have short arms.. come from a tall family though... My ex wife is a 5 foot tall Chinese but for some reason my 14 year old daughter is 5 8 with huge feet and very long arms. I wont be surprised if she ends up over 6 feet tall. My 12 year old son looks like he will be no taller than me.... Bottom line I have no idea how heredity factors in height etc.
5'11 with 6'1 wingspan. Been an undersized SG forever, but man would I love a chance at the point.
6'3'' 195 pounds 6'7'' wingspan. I also have size 14 feet which is pretty big even for 6'3'', always expected myself to grow to 6'5'' but sadly I'm done growing up.
@McDunkin That's one hell of a wingspan you must be terror defensively
6'0 175lbs with a 6'3.5 wingspan. I played forward in high school hahahah
I went to a Class B High School in Louisiana, 2nd smallest class. I played everything except center at 5'8". lol, Kind of like a less talented, wayyyyyy smaller Andre Igoudala. I was all state in track so that helped me lol
I would love to have any of you guys size (pause)
What makes things worse is I'm the only short man in my family for about 3 generations. Everyone else is at least 6'2"
My dad is 6'4" and my mom is 5'8" smh I lost out.
i am 6'10 and 230 lbs and i have an above average wingspan but i do not remember the exact number. i also have size 14 feet. growing up i was always asked if i play basketball and it drove me nuts and made me hate playing the game so i suck at it lol, it does make me wish i could of got into the game when i was young
6' tall with a 6'4 wingspan. Play a lot of PG but game is better suited as a pass first/score second mentality SG.
im filipino,
5'6" with 6'0 wingspan,
i play the PF on our course college games,
Our Center in 5'11
see how short we are,
hahaha
I'm 6'5 with a 6'8armspan. I weigh 210lbs and played Shooting Suard. Our team was actually sick. Our center was 6 foot 10, our PF was a skinny 6 foot 11 dude, our small forward was 6 foot 6 with a 7 foot 5 armspan (Kenyan Masai) our Pg was 6 foot 1. We were the third best highschool team in Kenya, and 4 of our players got selected to the nba without borders sprite slam camp in Kenya featuring Kenya's 200 finest U19. I got selected for the allstar team but didn't get selected for NBA without borders in South Africa last year. The guy who did never scored on me though :P
Is everybody in this forum a giant? Sheesh.
Height: 5'8"
Wingspan 5'9"
My arms have usually been short due to having long legs and a short torso. When I play, I'm usually just like my My Player on NBA 2k12. I can shoot the 3 and some midrange. I'm a good pass first PG, if my teammates know how to cut to the basket and not just stand around. I have enough "speed" to get in the lane, but when I enter the land of the giants, either:
1. Some guy hacks at the ball and hits me in the face, or
2. My weak layup gets blasted into the next court.
So I really have to rely on my jump shot, or hope #1 happens when I drive I'm an OK foul shooter. When I'm cold, it's not a pretty thing to watch.
I was shocked because i didnt think it would come out that long maybe in the 6'6" or 6'7" area but to be honest it might be mostly from my shoulders they are pretty broad and are about a inch to half an inch from being as wide as most doorways.
Ive played the same way almost my whole life. A undersized c/pf that can rebound, block shots, pass the ball and score with my back to the basket with moves I promise you I learned from College Hoops 2k5...Not to brag because if im 12 feet or further im not even thinking of shooting
Sad thing is I had knee surgery...1 of 3 in my life... pretty young (sometime in elementary school) from what was simply explained as me growing too fast. My doctor told me and my parents I should grow to atleast 6'10"...but that never happened and yet my feet grew to size 17/18.
So I would compare myself to a poor mans...maybe a 3rd world country homeless mans level poor...charles barkley...but with clown feet
man i feel bad for you having such big feet... how on earth do you find shoes? i know its super hard for me to find size 14, i would think finding size 17/18 would be near impossible!
Was the surgery for something called Osgood-Schlatter's Disease? I had a similar problem where I grew too fast too quickly, it didn't require surgery, but I had to sit out a year to avoid that happening, and it was the start of numerous lower body injuries. I was also supposed to be taller than I ended up being... the human body can be cruel sometimes, but hey, at least you've got the massive wingspan.
6'2 and wingspans 6'10 as well. My friends think I'm a freak lol, we're like Rondo; McDunkin.
The last time I was measured I checked in at 6' 4.75" without shoes and a "6' 11" wingspan. My weight was 225, which was heavy for me. I'm usually around 205.
If I had to compare my body type to an NBA player, it'd probably be James Harden.
Height: 6'6" Wingspan: 7'0"
I got measured today at school, i have the longest arms in my school teams history, but i live in Australia so its not much of an accomplishment :c Im only 15 though, and my growth plates still open, doctor says i could grow anywhere between 6'10"- 7'1"
I play wing, im really lanky, but i have pretty good athleticism, but I'm kind of a Kevin Durant sort of 6'10". I shoot the piss out of it, and i get 30 points a game in the crappy Australian highschool leagues. Played against Ben Simmons once, he is a freaking beast. I had to get out of the lane while he dunked on us all game. That kid is ridiculous.
Height: 5-9
Wingspan: 5-10.5
At least the last time I measured. Considering my age, I doubt I am getting taller. Considering my genes, am lucky to be as tall as I am. My younger brother is at least 3 inches shorter than I am, as are my parents. Still, we have some tall people on this board. Not to mention some albatross wingspans, prototype 2G size and than some with a few.
The one kind of cool thing I can do is palm a basketball pretty well (with my shooting hand at least, and decently with my non-shooting). Never had my hands measured, they are not huge, but are pretty strong and that is not a terrible thing to be able to do.
Damn, some pretty enviable heights...
Height: 5'11'' barefoot / 6'0.25'' w/shoes
Weight: 193-201 depending on the day
Wingspan: 6'2''
I'm 6'2'' with a 6'3'' wingspan and around 175 lbs.
I look like I weigh more than I do because I have broad shoulders, but my waist and torso are really small. I'm a lot stronger than I look and play a really physical style or basketball despite not being that big. I'm a sub par ball handler so I get a lot of buckets in the post, facing up and in the high post shooting 10-15 footers when people don't close out. I shoot hook shots a lot and people, always laugh, until they realize I make about 75% of them and they are very hard to block.
This is depressing. :/ I'm 5'7 barefoot 5'8" wingspan and height with shoes. 175 pounds. 7'4" standing reach. 34" running vertical. Size 11 shoes. I think I play like Kyle Lowry with less defense. Decent PG, solid shot, very good finisher for my height. Need another 4 inches or so to dunk. I guess it could be worse. Haha
im opposite with joe wolf.... i look like i weigh about 180 or 175 pounds.... my arms and shoulders are pretty damn lean with no bulk what so ever... but my theighs are all muscle.. and muscle weighs more than fat... then again having around 10 or 11% body fat doesnt help either :/
Height: 5-11
Wingspan: 6-0
Weight: 170
Damn, we got some big folks on this site. I might have to change my name.
215lbs
6' 4" (barefeet)
6' 7" wingspan
Good rebounder, decent shotblocker, very good passer (I can win games at the rec league level that I play passing out of the low post to cutters and three point shooters), good perimeter defender due to size, strength and good footwork, good handle for a "big man" due to learning the game playing a lot of 21 where you have to score for yourself.
6'1.5" Without Shoes
228lbs
6'7.5" Wingspan.
I have a friend who's 5'9 barefoot with a 6'9" wingspan. I've never seen thing like it.
5'10 always round up to 6' lol knock down shooter w/ range lol played in Georgia region AAAAA, always played against Harrow, Lorenzo Brown, Milton, Centennial, Walton, Wheeler. My sophmore year we played at Wheeler and there starting lineup was phil taylor whos at florida international, Daquon Jones who played at Miami, Ari Stewart who was at Wake and transfered to Southern Cal I think, Richard Howell at NC State and JJ Hickson lol rough game....
5'10" with a 6'0" wingspan I actually not suprised there is a lot of big people considering this is a avid basketball website.
Height: 6'7
Wingpsan: 6'8-6'9
6'7
Weight: 185
Wingspan: Between 6'11 & 7'0 haven't measured it to be exact in like a year & a half.
6'4 with a T-Rex like 6'4 wing span...oh well I have a 40 inch vert to make up for it.

Kind of a different topic.
After years of hearing how long my arms are before playing ball today my friends and I measured our wingspans and heights I turned out to be 6'3" with a (i was shocked to find out) 6'10" wingspan.
How about you guys?
