What should the WIZARDS do with 3#pick?

-Draft 8 Porter or C.Zeller or A.Bennett ?
-Trade the pick with some contracts for a (future) All Star Player ?
-Trade the pick with some contracts for a unhappy player ( maybe DeMarcusCousins, J-Smoove or EricGordon) ?

the wiz

Would have been a playoff team if healthy. Draft Porter, they will be solid at every spot. Guaranteed playoffs in weak east.

Draft Poter very solid

Draft Poter very solid player, they still have martell who is probally still going to start as well as ariza and singletary. IF they can somehow trade ariza or singletary then its all set. martell had a great season hes going no where

They really need frontcourt

They really need frontcourt scoring. Everyone assumes Porter because of positional need, but dont be surprised if zeller is top 3 on their board at the end of the workout process if they buy him as a PF/C as many are now beginning to. Porter would of course be a solid choice, but remember you can get "solid" players under 7 ft in a few ways besides a top 5 pick

We can't screw this up. Take

We can't screw this up. Take porter is he's there. He'll likely play a limited role his first year with so much depth at the position but the Wizards core should be Wall, Beal, Porter if everything falls into place.

I feel they're going for the

I feel they're going for the best post player that can provide offense. That's what they need to truly take the next step towards being a contender. Zeller or Len is my bet.

as a wizards fan

I would take Zeller because he can run with Wall and beal and yes the offense to okafors defense and Nene is better on second team now. In the second round I try and get a cj Leslie Reggie bullock type player this draft has a lot of serviceable small forwards and none look like stars so forget porter he compares himself to Prince which is def not a top 3 player unless this is the 2000 draft.

There aren't many stars in

There aren't many stars in this draft in general, you already have your "star" in Wall and possibly Beal, you want to surround them with quality intangibles which Porter brings along with spacing and defense. Other option would be Len for low post scoring or even Bennett who I think has huge bust potential, but I still think Porter is the obvious choice.

Take Porter...outstanding

Take Porter...outstanding player and he won't have to change living quarters although he'll have the cash to do so

i'm going with Len. of all

i'm going with Len. of all the post players, i believe he has the best up-side and that the wizards should address their post option issues with this draft. with all due respect to porter and what he brings to the table, this could possibly be washington's last high pick in the lottery if everyone is healthy.

and i dont think otto has the upside to be the type of player you build around, he's more of the player that you're fortunate to have. Nene and Okafor are already both 30 and i'd prefer a high upside post player to form the third main option for this washington unit. a trio of Wall-Beal-Len to me is a better balance than one of Wall-Beal-Porter even if both players live up to their potentials.

i do understand that len has a higher bust potential than otto but, maybe apart from oladipo, nobody has a smaller bust potential than porter in this draft. thats how much of a safe pick he is. you know that even if his offense doesnt translate or improve signficantly in the NBA, he can still be a solid rotational player due to everything else he brings to the floor. but i dont believe teams with a top 3 pick should not pick a player due to him being safe, but rather should be taken if theres a solid shot of him reaching his vast potential.

They could also try and

They could also try and package the pick to the kings for Cousins.

Wall and Cuzz were college teammates and also have Nene and Okafor to babysit him.

If not a Wall, Beal, Porter 1,2,3 looks very solid

Alex Len vs Kentucky

Video I did of Len against Kentucky showed a nice mix of skill on Offense. Defensively leaves a lot to be desired though
