What should Phoenix do with Eric Bledsoe?

Eric Bledsoe is one of my favorite players, and in my opinion is one of the most underrated 2-way guards in the game. His biggest weakness is probably TO's... but he's improved nicely as an outside shooter and as a playmaker in both the half court and fast-paced situations. He's a stud on D, and just feels like a guy that would play well in bigger games.

A big concern for me though is his injury history shortening his prime... and that you'll likely be getting his best years now through 2020. So if he is moved this offseason (which I'm really hoping happens if Phoenix selects a point guard) I would love to see him on an existing / up-and-coming playoff team that could use help at point guard. The two that immediately come to mind are Milwaukee and Utah (only if they lose out / cut bait with George Hill).

Concerning Milwaukee, I could see them offering up their #17 pick, John Henson + a future 2nd round pick. Not sure if Phoenix would value a package like that though.

Concerning Utah, I would like to see a trade centered around Derrick Favors + filler if George Hill walks & they retain Gordon Hayward.... which in my opinion is the most likely scenario. Of course Boston could pull of a huge draft night trade for an established star, further attracting Hayward to the Celtics... but my bet is on Hay-money staying in Salt Lake. Utah has additional assets to offer, but their offseason will be entirely dictated by what George Hill & Gordon Hayward decide in free agency.

What do you all think?

If they're looking to draft

If they're looking to draft Fox, I don't see how they can keep him. Reggie Jackson isn't really working out in Detroit (OKC fans around the world are shocked), so I think they could do well to find a new PG. Phoenix could see how much Detroit really values Stanley Johnson or KCP, I think they'd be good fits as they could use a wing defender. Milwaukee is interesting too and I think they could really use him.

Just curious

Do you think Stanley Johnson & Detroit's #12 selection would be too steep a price for Bledsoe?

That ship has sailed. He's

That ship has sailed. He's still an all-star level big though and young af, but the way he's shooting it, he's gonna be bad for a while at the line.

Favors and Burks for Bledsoe and Bender?

How about Favors and Burks to Phoenix for Bledsoe and Bender. Of couse this is a trade I would only consider Utah making if Phoenix drafts Fox. Then with the 24th pick Utah selects Jawun Evans as Bledsoe's backup and possible temporary starter if Bledsoe gets hurt. I fully expect Utah to keep G-time, however I don't see them keeping Hill, because they will spend too much money and effort retaining Hayward. Hill either goes to Detroit or Milwaukee.

Bender would be a nice stretch 4 that could work out next to Gobert if Lyles doesn't, or if Lyles does work out next to Gobert then Bender would be a nice backup. Burks has already been practically replaced in Utah by Hood or Ingles, but he can still play and would be a nice backup to Booker, if he can stay healthy. Favors I think would be the main piece to this trade other than Bledsoe. He would be a very nice starter next to Len who could play both PF and Center and would be a nice mentor for Chriss.

If Phoenix does select Fox, I think this would be a very good trade that would provide room for him, and it would help both teams too.

supposedly Cavs engaged in

supposedly Cavs engaged in preliminary in talks with Chicago who is fielding calls for Butler / could bring in Phoenix as a 3rd team to make deal for Butler happen. Bledsoe would be the Phoenix exit.

Bledsoe is a hard one to fully gauge on his worth..

Personally I see no point of trading him as his deal is just about up and it makes better sense to move Brandon knight,

His injury history makes him a hard one to fully gauge what you could get for him:

Teams that may make sense for him/The Suns.

For Bledsoe: Any team Lebron is on-If he stays Cavs he could be a 6th man and destroy other teams benches + prolong his career a little better.

NOLA-Makes sense if Boogie stays as they are tight and want to play together.

OKC-He could play on or off the ball and could either start or come of the bench and would be able to keep up wth Russ.

Clippers under Doc if CP3 and Blake return..As he knows Docs system..

For the Suns:
Any team that could give them a young cheap deal that is talented or a future first from a pretty average team that will probably be a top 10 lottery pick...This would give the Suns a salary dump and help them go full youth rebuild with Booker being their franchise player..
