What players do you think are too low on the NBADRAFT.net draftboard
There is always question marks around PG's that are under 6' tall, but it seems to me that Sherron at least deserves to be on the mock draft board. He is built like a tank, can penetrate, finish in traffic, and has cat-like quickness. Along with that he brings the ability to create for his teammates, score, and defend. Oh yeah, he also thrives in crunch time. Just look at what he did durring the national championship game against Memphis last year. Of the three pg's that Kansas ran at Derrick Rose, Collins was the only one able to stay in front of him on the defensive end of the floor. It seems like people question him because of the hight issue, but the NBA team that gives him a chance will be getting a quality ball player.
Greg Monroe and Stephen Curry are way too low and Thabeet is probably four or five picks ahead of where he'll be drafted. There's no way that Thabeet should be rated higher than Rubio on the draft board. He's a giant, imposing presence in the middle, but that guy has little to no coordination on the offensive side of the ball. I've always been a huge fan of NBADRAFT.NET since I was in high school, but I don't think they're that credible of a source for NBA draft information. Believe me, they're the best "fan" draft site on the web, but they don't actually talk to real NBA scouts and GMs like Chad Ford. Believe me on this too, Chad Ford on his own is far from being a credible source for NBA draft information, but he has sources that really do talk with NBA executives, he's &$#%#&@! ESPN for christ's sake. Ford is a horrible talent evaluator, but I will definitely read his articles when they mention something regarding what a GM said about a prospect, because they're the ones that are actually getting paid six figure salaries to scout players, not NBADRAFT.NET, maybe they get six figure dollars in advertisement. No offense to NBADRAFT.NET, they're great, and I look at the site many times throughout the day, but I just want a site that collaborates on what GMs are really thinking about prospects. Just a thought and far from being a reality. Monroe is going to be a very good player for many years, I can't wait to see how he plays once he's been through an NBA conditioning program, that dude is gonna be lean and mean, like our old boy Webber. I don't know if he'll have any fastbreak behind the back dunks on Hall of Fame PFs (Barkley) like Webber, but nonetheless he's going to be very good. He's better than Jason Thompson of the Kings at this age already, and that dude is going to be good too. I think Curry is so underrated it's funny, did you hear what Bob Knight said, he said he's got the best vision of any player in the NCAA, and he's completely true. Like I've said before on this website, his team is terrible, they literally drop 50% of his slick, one handed passes in the paint that should be dunked for easy baskets. This kid is a true winner in every sense of the word, and a Steve Nash comparison is definitely not out of the question. Have you seen Nash's athleticism? It's worse than Curry's.
This guy isn't even on the draft board, and he's one of the best under-the-radar power forwards in the NCAA. Coming from the A-10, he's probably overlooked in the NCAA power forward discussion, but he's still an absolute beast. 19.3ppg, 11.1rpg, 2.1bpg and shooting 66.5% from the field are stats any power forward would be proud of. He's also shooting 74% from the free throw line, which isn't shabby at all. He's also got an NBA power forward body at 6'9", 242lbs. I don't have any idea why he's not even in the discussion as even a 2nd round pick.
Anyone else agree?
Guard out of Tenn-Martin. Only NCAA player to ever have a quadruple double. A 6'3 guard with a 6'9 wingspan. One of the NCAA top scorers in the nation two years straight. When he played the Memphis Tigers last season against Derrick Rose and CDR, Hudson hit 35 points and had 10 rebounds. He is definitely an NBA caliber player. He has the strength, court vision, shot, and all around game to be a successful guard in the NBA.
I would like to add another player who is not mentioned in your mock draft;
Tyson Johnson, University of Wyoming - 6'-7" 245.
99% of his game is "inside".

I think that jeremy pargo is as good of a pg as most in this draft. what he lacks in size and shooting ability he more than makes up for in athleticism, strength, and tenacity. I think that he will be a very good sixth man early on in his career and eventually become a floor general. Ideally i think he would go good with cleveland, he fills there need for defense at the point guard position and would be able to push the tempo better than delonte west or mo williams.
Austin Daye is a 6'10" sf who is already producing despite (other than his height) looks like a 12 year old, he will eventually fill out to an extent but will never be a bruiser down low. He has the ball skills and mindset to be a very effective player in the nba in time. I think that he will stay in school for another year but if he does go i wouldnt pass on him outside of the lottery. I see him as eventually becoming a lamar odom like player.
Derrick Brown brings the same size and athleticism to the table that earl clark and damion james do yet he is listed as a late first rounder in the '10 board. With his size and athleticism mixed with his ball handling and shooting ability, he should produce immediately, he's physically ready and in my opinion is sure choice for instant production, less of an upside than clark and james but more well refined, not as good of a rebounder either.
I really think Jodie Meeks needs to be on there. He could possibly even be a pg given the chance in the NBA. If you watch him, he has great court vision and can really put the ball on the floor. I also really like Jeff Adrien from UConn. He just reminds me of he next Paul Millsap, Leon Powe, and Chuck Hayes type of player. An undersized power forward who knows how to play bigger than he is. He is a blue collar type of guy and he brings it every night. If Thabeet were not in the middle, I think this guy could average 3-5 more rebounds a night. His work ethic, nose for the ball, and defense are really overlooked when people talk about the talent and upside of his teammates.
I dont see this guy on any draft board but im currently watching him play and liking what i see. Trevor booker looks pretty solid, hes steppin out, puttin the ball on the floor and gettin position down low, hes even runnin the floor on both ends. Good entangibles. He looks like what ed davis could be.
thank you cyclo for finally bringing up Danny Green, who isn't even on the mock board. This guy is playing on an NBA team pretty much, and has really eclisped guys like Ellington and Thompson if you really watch the Heels play, which I assure you NBA scouts and GM's do. He will get drafted early in the second round, he is a legit 6'6, might even be near 6'7 in shoes, good wingspan, and has got significantly better every year which shows his work ethic. He numbers show he is well rounded, and his percentages, as previously listen, are not human. Doesn't force anything and on a worse team he could be scoring 18-20 easy. He is the kind of player you have to watch to fully appreciate, his numbers are solid, but not overwhelming, however within the frame of the game he always wins his individual matchup and makes the right basketball play within the scenario. When they snap out of this funk and run through the tourney, your gonna see his stock more than anybody on the team blow up, and me and Cyclo will be posting MEH HEH all over the forums.
Meeks is not first round, we've seen elite scorers in college go to the nba and not be as successful. Morrison and Reddick for example. Meeks may slip into the first and reminds me of Von Wafer (recent version). like Trevor Booker, he is a good player but his height is a factor.
David Holston needs to be in the draft, if Nate Robison can be a first round pick, then Holston deserves some looks. Better defender and shooter than Robinson, and more of a playmaker period.
Someone told him hard work pays off because he is WORKING HARD this season!!!!!!

Ahmad Nivins, St Joe's: Nivins is a 6'9 senior for the Hawks who has been a beast down low in A-10 play of late. Nivins has 3 straight double doubles putting up 28 points & 20 rebounds against URI, 16 points and 13 rebounds against St. Bonaventure, and 25 points and 10 rebounds against Charlotte. It's no surprise that St Joe's won all three games and Nivins has been the main reason for their success in the A-10 so far.
Stats: 19.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 66.5% FG
Ahmad Nivins had a career-high 34 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and Hilliard added 20 points for Saint Joseph's (10-7, 4-0 Atlantic 10), which won its fifth in a row.
huh..this has nothing to do with being right or wrong. i was wondering how many are in the leauge and since its slow i decided to repost things from the past. think before speaking everything isnt a shot at someone
takes too much time. there are plenty of post where people as questions they can go to a site ..do you tell everyone to go to nba.com to check? or just when you were wrong in assuming things?
What did i assume? That you brought up an old ass thread for no good reason?
I think finding this thread took longer than it would to find out through the power of Google if a handful of players...some of which obviously aren't in the league...are on NBA rosters
And NBA.com has every player with a contract in alphabetical order man. Anybody that made it out of 2nd grade should be able to check and see if Ahmad Nivins or Lester Hudson is on an NBA roster
Mcdunkin is kind of being a dick on this thread. Especially with all the random gifs he puts up and we have to look at.
i could say the same thing when you made a post asking if dodson was still on the kentucky roster when you could have googled it or went to the uk website that said if he was there or not but you decided to ask on here instead of doing that. next time you ask something ill be sure to point you to the right site to get youre answer see you "helped me" by doing the same:)
i dont mind..i rather debate or chat with someone like that then no one talking at all. sometimes it gets wayyyy to slow on here which sucks when you dont have a lot of free time
If you have a problem with them reke, you could have told me that, and i would have stopped or cut back on posting them, and ive said that before.
Dodson isnt on the website but at the same time Cal and players on the team continued to say through the Canada trip that he could return. Since we had a person on here that claimed to be close to the Kentucky staff i thought maybe he, or anyone more familiar with the Kentucky program than i am could answer.

What players do you think are too low on the NBADRAFT.net draftboard.Just wanted to know are there any guys that you see that should be higher on the board. Maybe a J.Meeks,Terrence Williams,or Ty Rice. What about G.Vasquez or AJ Price. just throwing some names out there. Johnny Flynn is way too low in my humble opinion on the 10 draftboard. Harangody is too low even though he's a tweener but Gary Johnson of Texas is ahead of him and he's a tweener as well and hasn't done half of what Harangody has done for the Irish. Not saying Harangody is gonna be a star but he produces and I think he should get a little more credit thats all. I really like this site just sometimes they're opinon on certain guys varies from popular opinion. I know I missed some players, just want to know what you all think?
