What The Knicks Should Do
If everything falls into place, I definitely agree with you. Say LeBron stays though? Then that is really an average team at best in less they go out and get another good player. Good post though man.
but keep in mind we dont have a first rounder next year, now with David Lee the only quality big man on the roster, it would be hard to let him go unless you want a frontline of Wilcox/Milicic but that would be suicidal. Now with Rubio starting It makes Nate Robinson expendaple maybe him and Q-Rich andd next years second for a first in 2010
Ive been hearing a lot on this site about trading Chandler but that would be utterly rediculous.
next year starting line up Their going to just miss the playoffs unless Rubio is amazing
PG-Rubio
SG-Hughes
SF-Chandler
PF-Lee
C-Wilcox-resign need a true center
Bench
Gallinari
Milicic
Duhon
Jefferies
Saer Sene
Once LeBron comes to the Knicks, everyone is going to jump on the bandwagon and want to go play for the Knicks, for these reasons...LeBron is one of the best players in the league, if not the best player in the league..New York is the biggest market and people love it there...Mike D' Antoni is a well respected coach and players love his free-lancing system, so definitely free agents would want to go play for the Knicks, much like when Boston acquired Garnett and Ray Allen.
You can try this number. I don't know about an email, that is all i could. Hopefully it works.

The Knicks are going to keep either David Lee or Nate Robinson. So one of those will also be an integral part of the Knicks future. Most likely David Lee because of his ability to run the floor as a big man and rebound. Important for Dantoni's system.
Unless they move up to grab Rubio they should just stick with Stephon Curry and Hope Eddy Curry plays well enough this coming year to get some trade interests. It would appear that regardless if they get Rubio or Curry that Nate is on his way out.
when I saw Don and yup persuing a roster idea via Knicks organization. Who'd you talk to Don? Do they even have the Cap space to accommodate these players? I heard Jalen Rose say Bron and Bosh are going to be Knicks in 2010 i'd rather have Bosh over Amare. I think ultimately The Cavs are going to retain him. I think he feels like he owe's one for Clevland . Next year if he Wins it he may be gone but if he doesnt I think Cle sign him and gets him some help. Z is coming off the books this year we'll see what moves they can make. Cavs need a bigger 2 guard who can defend and a good lengthy defending BIG. Lebron wants the best supporting cast possible it's who can make the moves and still offer him the $$. It'll be a start if Walsh can get Gortat. I hope the Warriors take Curry
Hey Don, i don't mean to be rude but you have to be kidding me with your first post. I didn't bother with reading the other ones because I had to comment on this. Why would the Grizzlies want to trade for Al Harrington and Eddy Curry?? Maybe I can see Harrington because his contract expires after next season but even still that is a stretch. How does that make them better? And Eddy Curry?? What makes you think the Grizzlies are in the market for an over wieght, over paid, injured center who hasn't nearly lived up to his potential since he has been in the leauge and still has at least 2 years on his contract? Good luck with that one. If Donnie Walsh could make that trade he should be given a key to the city.
First off, the contracts would never work in that trade to Memphis. I agree that Rubio would be a great fit in NY but it probably wont happen. They would want Chandler or Gallinari and/or expiring contracts for one of their bad contracts to make that deal. That would make it impossible to sign 2 stars then. I still dont think Lebron will come either.
My hopes for the Knicks are to re-sign Lee and Wilcox for good prices, sign Gerald Green for a 1year/min contract, draft Barandon Jennings, Look to trade back in to get Victor Claver, try to trade into next years draft to get a quality big. I still think Gerald Green has the talent to be a star and we can get him for cheap. Jennings is one of very few players in this draft with star power. Victor Claver has tremendous skills and size at 6'11", plus we can leave him in Europe if hes not quite ready. Amare is a virtual lock to come here next year.

I really feel Ricky Rubio can maximize his potential and compete with Blake Griffin, for Rookie of the Year, if he landed on the Knicks, playing for Mike D' Antoni...I think the Knicks should trade Al Harrington, Eddy Curry, the 8th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, and cash considerations, to the Grizzles, for the # 2 pick, to select Ricky Rubio, and Darko Milicic. Harrington was the team's leading scorer this past season, but next year's lottery will have plenty of power forwards for them to choose from, plus the Knicks may be able to lure LeBron and Amare to New York anyways, for the 2010-2011 season.
