aivsdirkParticipantmy power went out because it rained very hard where im at. i just got my laptop to come back on and the pistons@celtics game was at the end of the 3rd quarter with a couple seconds left.
Anybody, what happened? Did people get injured, or not play for the pistons? Was boston truly that much better throughout the game?0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/08/2013 - 10:50am #816930
B-ball fanParticipantPistons just played terrible. Drummond didn’t suit up for the game. For the Celtics, Pressey was pretty decent, Olynyk was good, Fab Melo was not good.
Pistons have nobody doing much on there summer league team besides Drummond. KCP got a couple steals and run out dunks, but he struggled otherwise, just shooting jumpers, and Siva couldn’t finish at the rim. The Piston’s Tony Mitchell played like JaVale McGee does, getting alley-oop dunks, crazy goaltends, steals, and generally looking clueless out there, but giving energy.

aivsdirkParticipantWord, appreciate the analysis. They said yesterday drummond might not play, so i can see his presence not being there changing the tone for the pistons. the javale to tony mitchell comparison was funny, after watching the game a little more i can see it.

esperanzafleet69ParticipantEverybody on the pistons shot bad, with KCP, middleton, and english shooting the worst which was suprising. i thought their best player was korie lucious, good to see him back in michigan.

Sharp ShooterParticipantMiddleton left with a leg injury. Rasheed (and the bench) got a tech. Kelly Onylnk look nice (plays alot like Luis Scola), KCP did struggle but not like yesterdays game. Tony mitchell played with energy (but struggle scoring). Peyton siva look like a floor general, but def struggle scoring and finishing. Kyle Singler and Drummond didn’t play.

Sewok15ParticipantKelly with 5 steals was surprising…I didn’t watch the game…was he just in the right place at the right time or was he making plays defensively? If he can hold his own on defense he could be a really valuable player moving forward.

B-ball fanParticipantOlynyk was hustling for every loose ball, although he as a little lucky on a few of the steals. He had a couple hustle rebounds to go along with the steals. Played better defensively today than yesterday, although he figures to always struggle a bit on the defensive end.
