Adam Morrison

is better then all the Lakers Bench besides Shannon Brown.

What pis s es me off most is that Adam was one of the greatest college players period. He went to Charlotte and all the fans though he would be a 30pt scorer as a rookie. When ever he missed a shot in a game the fans booed him. no pressure NOT EVEN MICHEAL had that much pressure. SHAME ON THE CHARLOTTE BOBCATS FAN BASE AND OWNERSHIP.

Adam shot close to 50% and averaged 15 points on the road as a rookie compared to at home

Luke Walton plays over

Luke Walton plays over Morrison because he is a better player. Lets not forget Luke was the triple double man in college, and was on his way to a terrific senior year but played all season with a bum ankle. He's superior in almost every aspect of the game, although he lacks the scoring instincts and perhaps the shooting ability of Morrison. Walton will is the kind of player that can contribute with his passing and basketball I.Q...He will have a very long career in the NBA. It's no garauntee Morrison will even be in the league in a few years.

I don't know why he isn't on

I don't know why he isn't on the Lakers summer league roster this year. He was on their summer league roster last year and he played pretty well. He averaged a little over 20 ppg. I think him playing in the summer league this year would help him develop and it would show the Lakers how good of a player he is.

I am fine.

Don't count The 'Stache out just yet... It usually takes more than just one year to fully recovery from an injury like the one Ammo suffered. Now that Vanilla Earthquake should be completely healthy and ready to contribute, I see him getting some attention from teams who are looking for a proven scorer off the bench. After the big name free-agent buzz dies down a bit and teams start trying to fill voids on their rosters, look for Adam to get a few calls from teams that need a scoring boost from their secondary unit. In an earlier post about Morrison (in which I had already posted his 2010 NBA Finals Highlights, by the way) a few other members from the forum reminisced about some of our fondest memories of The Tall Ninja. Here is the link for that discussion:

http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/adam-morrison-2010-nba-finals-highlights

Anyway, I am excited to see what becomes of the self-proclaimed Conundrum.

plasticman Luke was a triple

plasticman

Luke was a triple double guy in a Div II college.

Morrison was a Player of the Year in a Div I college that isn't a top tier school

Umm...Not sure what your talking about Luke Walton played for University of Arizona for Lute Olson lol. He played in the Pac-10 when it was much better than it is now. Way better competition that Morrison ever saw.

I'm not sure where you got that he went to a Div II school, you must be thinking of someone else.

Let's not forget that when he was given minutes he was a very productive player for the Lakers. He can rebound, pass his ass off, and can hit open jumpers. The first two are a given, but when his shot is going he is good enough to start for many teams. I just don't see what Morrison brings to the table. He cannnot contribute defensively, nor can handle the ball. He is forced to be mainly a spot up shooter and run off picks. The only problem is that his shooting percentages are horrible!!! What kind of pure shooter shoots 37% from the field?

^Luke Walton went to

^Luke Walton went to Arizona.

Morrison has lost his confidence. That's why he's not playing. If he was better than everyone on the Lakers bench, whose rotation is probably only 8 or 9 deep at most, do you think Phil Jackson would NOT let him play? The man has 11 rings lol, he knows who and know not to include in his rotation.

And Morrison averaged 20 ppg in the SL last year, so how would it help his development if he was a nonfactor once again? Summer League isn't what he needs. Only God knows what he needs now lol, but it's not SL as he proved after bombing last year..

Walton is twice the player Morrison is

Morrison can shoot, but what else can he do? He can't guard anyone, or board, or pass, really. Walton will never be a scorer, but he's a great fifth man to have on the floor -- smart, a good passer, and strong enough to set good picks and guard some guys.

Despite his physical

Despite his physical defensive shortcomings.I still believe he can be a productive player in the right system...His confidence eroded after the injury during his rookie year...Watching & practicing against Kobe should've helped him alot..
