What The Cavs Should've Done

The Cavs should've drafted Harrison Barnes 4th, and 24th they could've drafted Tony Wroten Jr. to pair in the backcourt, at the 2 guard spot, alongside Kyrie Irving...In the 2nd round, they could've drafted a center or 2...This would've made more logic than what they did...smh

Don't think Wroten can play

Don't think Wroten can play off ball and Kyrie needs it in his hands. Barnes at 4 would of been ideal but at 24 I probably would of went Jared Cunningham. That trio in the backcourt would be a nice young group to grow with.

What they shouldve done dates

What they shouldve done dates back to last years draft. They should have drafted valuncious instead of thompson. then got robinson at 4 this year. And at 24 got doron lamb, and for 33 and 34 got will barton and draymond green.

This: Or That:

Irving Irving

Waiters Lamb

Gee Barton

Thompson Robinson Green

Zeller Varejoa

Dion Waiters is the better

Dion Waiters is the better player though Harrison Barnes is the better fit around Kyrie Irving, so it's a tough call!

This is the scenario I liked

This is the scenario I liked the most as well.

Don't get me wrong. Waiters will be good. But I think he's a sixth man on a contender; not a starter. They could have taken Barnes too. I think he'd gel perfectly with Kyrie and Tristan. Now they have two guys that think they're alpha dogs (Kyrie actually is one; I don't think Waiters is), whereas Barnes would have accepted his role much quicker IMO (and I flat out think he'll be a better player).

Tony Wroton off the ball

Tony Wroton off the ball would be horrible because he needs the ball in his hands alot to have a impact on the game plus he is a horrible shooter. In what way is Waiters better than Barnes? When has he shown to be a better player?

I think they should have gone

I think they should have gone with Barnes at 4. More of a fit. Gives them a scoring wing who can shoot with some size. Dion Waiters sounds like he is ball dominant. I actually like Tyler Zeller. Maybe they gave up too much for him but he is a solid center who can score and run the floor. He could be the best all-around center out of this draft. It looks like next year they need to go after a small forward like James McAdoo or Adonis Thomas. It will be interesting to see how all these guys fit. If the Cavs are playing in the summer league this year we might find out with TT, Zeller, and Waiters being there and possibly even Kyrie Irving.

What do you guys think of

What do you guys think of them selecting Poythress next year?

A starting lineup of Kyrie, Dion, Poythress, Thompson, and Zeller would be very fast paced and a tough young core.

Lol I'm already ready for the next draft and it hasn't been 24 hours.

He'd be a great pick. But

He'd be a great pick. But will he still be on the board when they pick?
