What about the Lakers

ive been hearing non stop rumors that phil jackson may leave the lakers to coach chicago or new jersey or even retire. no one is saying who the lakers are going to get to fill there coaching void if phil does in fact leave/retire. is larry brown a person of interest for the lakers ? maybe coach cal from kentucky or coach k from duke ? any thoughts ?

ive also heard phil is leaving. but the words i heard on nbatv was that phil was likely to retire after the season. buthonestly and truly i dont believe phil is retiring until he gets another championship and puts space between him and big red

accroding to chris brousard

accroding to chris brousard who was talking about this on espn yesterdfay, phil is still likely to return to the lakers. If not, i just hope he leaves with a title after this season. If the lakers win, i wouldnt be too mad if he left. As for who replaces him, i say coach K would be my ideal choice. If not him, then just promote from within and bring up brian shaw.

@IknoBall12 Coack K would

@IknoBall12

Coack K would definitely be interested in a chance to win now. I mean hes 67 now, hes coached Us Olympics before so he has a feel for the nba, im sure he would want to win right away why not the Lakers? who knows how many years of coaching left, it might only be two, or three.

Also hes not being an &$#%#&@! like DYNCE and guaranteeing some random player will play for the Lakers next year, and then saying hes completely outsmarted everyone by saying that. Hes saying coach k is one possibility.

If anyones stupid its you.
