Daprob89ParticipantWestern conference first round match-ups if the playoffs started today
LA Lakers/Oklahoma City- LA in 5
Dallas/San Antonio- Dallas in 6
Denver/Portland- Denver in 7
Utah/Phoenix- Utah in 7
Whats your opinion?

RickyRubio9ParticipantWhoa Whoa. I think you’re selling OKC short..
Bynum is Injured & no matter what, he won’t be 100%.
Kobe has been playing Horrible while Durant has been the Opposite.
The LA/OKC Series goes more then 5 games.
I agree with the Dallas one…Dallas in 6.
Same for the Denver-Portland, Nuggets in 7
& Agree on the last one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Utah took it in 6.
But Still…We don’t know if this is how it’ll finish.0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/12/2010 - 10:59am #280824

Daprob89ParticipantBynum is injured true but Pau is a nightmare match up OKC 25 and 10 waiting to happen….
Kobe is Kobe remember that….
Lamar Odom will make Durant play defense…
Ron Artest and Kobe equals tough night for Durant…Avg 25( Against LA this season)
Lakers are 3-1 in the season series( 1 game without Pau and another without Bynum)

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, Pau plays center with more physical players like Serge Ibaka and Etan Thomas… Pau is NOT a 25/10 guy.. he’s a 18-8 guy.. don’t try to raise his stats.
Thabo Sefolosha SHUTS KOBE DOWN everytime they play, how about you remember that.
Kobe averages about 5 turnovers and 4 fouls vs OKC. REMEMBER THAT.Odom plays power forward and Kevin Durant plays small forward.
25ppg, is still VERY good..

Daprob89ParticipantDidnt Kobe give THABO 40???( Efficiently)
Ibaka is just as soft Pau he’s 6″9 230 fareal… But we know whos more skilled
Odom plays the 3 or 4 where ever he’s needed
25 is sub-par when you avg 30
You right maybe Pau is a 18-8 against a descent front court but he’s 25 and 10 guy against these dudes

SwatLakeCityParticipantDallas holds the #2 seed by only a game over Utah and Denver. Utah holds the tiebreaker over dallas, so in order for Dallas to hold onto to that 2 seed they will have to beat the Spurs at home, while Utah will play Phoenix in Utah. Dallas is 27-13 at home while Utah is 32-8 at home. So that 2 seed is still up for grabs, as are seeds 6-8. The spurs, OKC, and the Blazers are all tied up. So it could go anyway. I would not be betting on the matchups yet, because those could all change soon. It aint over till wednesday, then we will know for sure who gets who, and who should win.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI know the Lakers are going to win but I just don’t think in 5.. maybe in 6.. Heck with the Lakers struggling.. maybe it’ll take a game 7 for them to get back on track.

Daprob89ParticipantI like the Thunder (Durant a beast and Westbrook got that $hit) but the Lakers wont go 7 games against them nor 6…
Yall making too much of this little slump Kobe and LA on…
Im sure everybody want to see another Bos/Chi type series and im pretty sure we will see another one this year but this aint the one…
Maybe Magic/Bcats????

sheltwon3ParticipantWho says Lakers will be playing OKC. Have you seen the schedules. OKC should at least get 7 place. Spurs or Portland should be eight. OKC could have practically locked up 6th place with that win last night but they lost.

SwatLakeCityParticipantexactly sheltwon, thats why I did not say anything about the matchups. I didn’t even predict the order, because who knows how it will end up. Seeds 2-8 are all very close. only 2 or 3 games separate them all.

M-DYMESParticipantIf LA is matched up v. OKC, Fisher should be shitting his pants about guarding Westbrook. Still think LA would get the best of that series but that is a huge mismatch.

M-DYMESParticipantYou can get a point across in lowercase as well. I don’t discriminate against lowercase. I mean you must of read the posts before you that were in lowercase so they still caught your attention. I’m not mad at you, I’m just saying using caps isn’t going to make your post any more significant.

Daprob89ParticipantBut back to the topic…
Yeah Westbrook is a match-up problem and was all 4 regular season games…
But at the end of the day OKC were still 1-3 against the Lakers this season…
The Lakers are a match-up nightmare all across the board for this young unexperienced OKC team…

M-DYMESParticipantI agree. I think LA will win a series v. OKC, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they pulled the upset. No way Fisher can keep up with Westbrook. And Durant is capable of having huge games. Then you figure a lot of those lakers are hurting right now and they haven’t been playing well together as of late. Gasol is going to be a deciding factor, as well Kobe (always a factor).

aarondsonixfanParticipantI don’t think LA is even going to play OKC. I think at the VERY END, it’s going to end up like this.
LA v SA
Dallas v OKC
Denver v Portland
Utah v PhoenixNow that would be a good first round to watch. 2 experienced teams at the 1-8 matchup, Dallas and OKC are matched up pretty nice, Denver and Portland would be entertaining, and the Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer v Nash and Stat show. That would be a heck of a 1st round

Daprob89ParticipantWhere does the Thunder bench come in at???
Because we know Lamar gone get his
Farmer and Brown is gonna be able to run with these guys…
Bynum will be back the first game of the playoffs and 70% Bynum is better than any Post player OKC got( Ibaka,Thomas, Krstic and Collison)
No Upset here 100% sure of it
