Western conference first round match-ups if the playoffs started today
LA Lakers/Oklahoma City- LA in 5
Dallas/San Antonio- Dallas in 6
Denver/Portland- Denver in 7
Utah/Phoenix- Utah in 7
Whats your opinion?

Whoa Whoa. I think you’re selling OKC short..
Bynum is Injured & no matter what, he won’t be 100%.
Kobe has been playing Horrible while Durant has been the Opposite.
The LA/OKC Series goes more then 5 games.
I agree with the Dallas one…Dallas in 6.
Same for the Denver-Portland, Nuggets in 7
& Agree on the last one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Utah took it in 6.
But Still…We don’t know if this is how it’ll finish.

Yeah, Pau plays center with more physical players like Serge Ibaka and Etan Thomas… Pau is NOT a 25/10 guy.. he’s a 18-8 guy.. don’t try to raise his stats.
Thabo Sefolosha SHUTS KOBE DOWN everytime they play, how about you remember that.
Kobe averages about 5 turnovers and 4 fouls vs OKC. REMEMBER THAT.
Odom plays power forward and Kevin Durant plays small forward.
25ppg, is still VERY good..

Dallas holds the #2 seed by only a game over Utah and Denver. Utah holds the tiebreaker over dallas, so in order for Dallas to hold onto to that 2 seed they will have to beat the Spurs at home, while Utah will play Phoenix in Utah. Dallas is 27-13 at home while Utah is 32-8 at home. So that 2 seed is still up for grabs, as are seeds 6-8. The spurs, OKC, and the Blazers are all tied up. So it could go anyway. I would not be betting on the matchups yet, because those could all change soon. It aint over till wednesday, then we will know for sure who gets who, and who should win.

this is the second time ive seen someone say thabo shuts down kobe EVERYTIME. The first 3 games kobe averaged 33 and the laker won all 3 against the thunder. how is that shutting down kobe everytime?

Who says Lakers will be playing OKC. Have you seen the schedules. OKC should at least get 7 place. Spurs or Portland should be eight. OKC could have practically locked up 6th place with that win last night but they lost.

exactly sheltwon, thats why I did not say anything about the matchups. I didn’t even predict the order, because who knows how it will end up. Seeds 2-8 are all very close. only 2 or 3 games separate them all.

If LA is matched up v. OKC, Fisher should be shitting his pants about guarding Westbrook. Still think LA would get the best of that series but that is a huge mismatch.

Then you figure a lot of those lakers are hurting right now and they haven’t been playing well together as of late. Gasol is going to be a deciding factor, as well Kobe (always a factor).
