samosasParticipantI’m sure that in any serious NBA physical someone’s going to find this out, but why put it out there, you know? This can’t do anything but hurt draft stock.

Jester87ParticipantApparently the Cavs found out Bennett suffers from asthm and sleep apnea during the training camp (so I’m assuming also other teams’ front offices weren’t aware of that). So I’m not sure they would’ve found out about WCS disorder during draft combine.

surveParticipantI agree. Why put it out there? Let teams do their due dilligence.

Pippen aint EZParticipantRyan Clark of the Pittsburgh Steelers has the same thing and had a bad attack in Denver that cost him his spleen and gall bladder, and now he doesn’t play when they go to Denver. Not sure if it would be as severe but I wouldn’t take chest pains lightly and would need a full assesment of him before drafting. I can’t see a team in the West taking him if he can’t play in Denver. Its too bad because I was just gonna ask why we don’t see him in the 15-20 region of this draft with his amazing defensive ability, and Kentucky has too much talent in the pipeline for him to just hang around another year. If Daniel Orton went first round after a year, WCS could given what he has shown just last year. Would he end up any worse than a Nazr Mohammed?

RUDEBOY_Participant4get about his nba future, the good news is that they found out about it b4 it was too late..becuz his high school coach said he didnt know he had it…there have been alot of athletes that never knew they had it and died on the court of playing field…becuz they became over exhausted, dehydrated and were doing extreme exercises…
this news shouldnt stop him from being a 1st rounder…becuz if he takes the advice of the trainers and do the proper things,he should be ok..

SiggyParticipantI was wondering why during games he’d get pulled or even take himself out of games after 3 minutes or so even when he was playing well. Could be treated like JaVale with his asthma. Even if he does play well enough to become a starter, he could have a minutes restriction.

samosasParticipantThis is a good example of how thin the margni for error is in regards to exceptional athletic success. 1/100000 people 7 foot tall? Check. Longer wingspan? Check. Run fast, is agile, check? Heriditary disease? 3/4. You get a 75%. Hard times, man.

King CaluchaParticipantIf this turns out to be a limiting condition for him later in the season… it’ll definitely hurt his draft stock. Maybe he shouldn’t have said anything about it…
