SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantWazzu goes into Seattle and beats Fultz and Udub. Coach Romar needs to go.

llperezI’ve been saying romar needs to go for at least 5 years now. I follow the PAC pretty close and if there is one team that always underachieved based on talent on the roster it’s Washington.

ph90702I believe that he’s the only P5 coach to have missed the NCAA Tournament five straight years at his current school.

TRC1991ParticipantAs a husky fan it is completely unacceptable and gut-wrenching to see this program continue to dwindle into obscurity because LOSErenzo cant teach guys to play defense

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantUdub should be the best team in the northwest year in and year out. They have such a leg up on recruiting it’s a joke. I honestly don’t get it. They treat him like coach K but what has he actually done besides riding IT to a deep tournament run.
Wazzu and Ernie Kent on the rise. What do you call a good looking girl on udub campus…a visitor

bballjunkie09ParticipantI echo all these sentiments. It is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE for UDub to not be considered a top, competitive team in the Pac 12 – let alone the best team in the state! However I am curious whether or not UDub will actually fire Romar after this season since Michael Porter Jr. will be on board next year. Now I’m not sure of the significance of Porter decision’s was based on coach Romar, but my guess is he will/should be gone after Michael Porter Jr. puts in his one year in college basketball. As a fellow Pacific Northwestern resident, I am mentally preparing for what might be another year of mediocre UDub basketball…
