WolfRobParticipantI was over looking at ESPN’s Mock draft, and was very surprised to see Dion Waiters as the 8th pick. I think he is very talented and could very well end up being a very good pro, but I didn’t even see him as a lottery pick (this site has him in the 20s range).
What do you guys think? Could he end up being a lottery pick?

boshjonesfordParticipantmeh, dont see it happening, he doesnt have the PG skills and looked kind of chubby in his summer workout video. (but who knows, anything can happen in the nba draft — didnt expect Thristan Thompson to go so high last year)

DolanCareParticipantI just don’t see Waiters going in the lottery. He is scorer who can explode for production. That’s a good asset to have, but there are a lot of those types in the league right now. I could see him becoming a Jamal Crawford type, I could also see him develop into something akin to Kevin Martin. Either way, I’m not sure if that’s what you want with the 8th pick in this draft.

WolfRobParticipantI’d use a lottery pick on Jamal or Kevin Martin…

M-EazyParticipantHe is the type of player who can boost his stock at predraft workout, but as of now he’s not a lottery pick in my eyes. He’s one of those players who left too early. He could’ve came back and been top 5-10 next year as the focal point in Cuse’s offense

AKOOParticipantSome guy always shoots up the board. I guess it is him this year. I don’t see what they see though.
