Wade is better then Kobe?
Stats are actually concrete and dont lie like your eyes can (also not influenced by the media), but thats beside the point jordan had pippen and later on pippen and rodman. Lebron hasnt had teammates nearly as good unless u count the short time period boozer was on his team
Stats say Wilt Chamberlain is better then Jordan Jordan never averaged 50 ptr per game in a season
Stats can and do lie.. you can't look at just what a player scores. You have to look deeper to see what else happened during the game (such as did the player play def.?). When were the points scored? What was the outcome. etc. etc. etc.
Sounds like you watch a bit to much ESPN to me. Was the "decision" the most important day of your life?
The reason that LeBron will never be Jordan or Kobe is he doesn't have the killer instinct that they do. That cavs team had talent and enough where if the right guy stepped up here and there they would have got to the finals. Jordan carried Luc Longley, Bill Wennington, Will Purdue, Steve Kerr, Jud Bucheler, and Toni Kokuc to rings. Kobe got a lot of help from role players like Vujacic, DFish, Ron Ron and Lamar Odom. It's because these guys wanted to play hard because they saw the work Kobe and Michael put in. LeBron doesn't get on his teammates enough to be considered Jordan-esque. Sure he puts up great stats and if that makes him the best player in the league to you thats fine your entitled to your own opinion, but to compare him to Jordan, who lit a fire under 11 guys takes away from how great of a player Michael truly was.
Give Lebron as decent second man beside him and we will see Lebron does have a killer instinct just not as hyped as those guys. I will say it again Jordan did not win jack without Pippen who u didnt mention and Kobe has had either pau gasol or shaq on his championship runs.
I remember Lebron scoring 25 straight points against the pistons, I remember him scoring point for point with Paul Pierce in 2008, I remember game 5 against the magic in 2009 an elimination game Lebron having a triple double with 37pts and knocking down clutch freethrows down the stretch. Lebron has as much a killer instinct as Kobe just not as much help
Kobe tops Wade, simple as that. I'm a little bit frustrated that Cavs lost to Orlando in 08-09 so we didn't get to see the Kobe vs LeBron series we all wanted before his team got ridiculously stacked this year.
As an aside, why the hell is OJ Mayo defending in every one of those pictures on the actual blog?
Yeah one reallly bad game but I also remember Kobe having 2 really bad games look at gms 3 and 7 both below 40% fg both wins. How u gonna tell me Lebron can play that bad and win? Give me evidence in the playoffs when Lebron has had awful games like that and won
Win some games a live to fight another day... "your guys have been weighed, your guys have been measured, and your guys have been found wanting". I have never in my life life been a Kobe fan... but your guys can't even sit at the same table.
@omphalus in the pg one Ty Lawson is guarding every player
we'll see how much freedom wade has this yr.
he's more efficient than kobe right now, but all that means nothin when it comes to making big shots & getting w's . kobe just will not lose.

"Wade still has no consistant 3 Point shot so everything you said is garbage. Lebron and Kobe are more complete players and you can't be the best without being the most rounded."
Shaquille was clearly the best for years with 50% free throw shooting
and no jump shot. different positions but #s dont lie
I see D Wade playing fine. He might not have won anything, but that has no real bearing on how well he has played. Winning is a team effort, not a one man effort. D Wade just happened to get a lot of whistles in the Dallas-Miami finals and gave people the perception that he can actually carry a team through the playoffs. I think D Wade has gotten better since he won a championship regardless of the tough injuries.
LeBron may be a slightly better player across the regular season statistically but look at how many games Kobe has won in his career with the last shot. And whilst LeBron may win poles as the best current player, it's always Kobe who wins the pole who you would want with the ball with a game winning score needed.
LeBron's Decision programme did him no favours, going to the Heat fair enough maybe Cleveland had got a bit smug with him but other top FA's just signed. Kobe may have an ego but he has got 5 titles and counting !

What good are stats if you are done playing after the first couple rounds of the playoffs? If the game was about stats they might as well play every game in a kids driveway.
